terrible, terrible. do not buy this if you are expecting it to be like crash 2 and three. its dreadful!you just spend every level fighting to get into monster bodies. there is no goal or fun in this at all.

When you first play it, it doesn't seem so bad. Then it gets bad. Missions seem hard, gameplay is limited. You really do expect it to be a little like GTA. But, of course, Reflections are enemies with Rockstar when it comes to free roaming, shooting, driving games. Then, the more you play it and practice, the better it gets. There is nothing like being in a high speed pursuit, then pit maneuvering a trafiic car and watch the cops plough into it, causing mass destruction. It's absolutly great.
Then there's the downside. Driver, as a series, has been commonly picked on for many reasons. First is that they say they're trying to be too much like GTA. Then there's the stupid cops, the way Tanner (the main character) walks, the fact that in Driver ... Read More:

Well, this is a great game, the only reason i made an account on amazon, was so i could buy it again. i would have gone for GT4, but i already have the save files of GT3 on my ps2, i dont want to do them again, i purely want the game for driving the streets of seattle in the GT40 and trying the dodge on laguna seca, absolutely brilliant. i also follow the grand prix and where i cant handle the F1 Games, i can handle long endurance races on GT3 :D

As you can judge from my title,it's not the longest game in the world...thankfully!,This was much previewed as having fewer but longer missions than Frontlines but after finishing it I can honestly say apart from the last mission none of them are significantly longer than some of the bigger missions from the last game.
There are about ten or so missions with the first two being nothing more than short tutorial levels, add to that the in game save points and the game doesn't take long to sail through,however...
The AI of your buddies is atrocious with them constantly standing in your way, running round like they need the loo and constantly getting stuck in doors etc..,one major point, the collision detection is possibly the worst I've seen in an FPS!,I pumped ... Read More:

Luv this game even though i'm a grumpy teen! had this game when i was little but only started to play it now!! It is addictive and has hundreds of levels. I've only just completed it. it is very taxing in some parts (trying to work out what you actually have to do to get to the next level!
You should play this game at least twice (that is if you finally manage to complete it!) coz there are loads of things you may have missed out in the first levels of the game where you need the umbrella to get all the items or somthing like that!
I would recomend this for EVERYONE. The BEST ps2 game I've ever played!
I only wish there were more games like this one! lol! :)

Being obsessed with the R&C franchise, i purchased this game after finding out that tools of destruction would not be out on PS2. To be honest, i was expecting the usual adventure type game with a good plot/storyline, however, it was more like a shoot-em-up with a badly writen storyline tacked onto it. The controls have also changed a lot; contrary to the pevious games, the hoverbike races are now the most annoying and difficult to control, and there is no way of changing this. It also lacks the variety of the original R&C games, many of the planets seeme to have been copied-and-pasted with a few colours and enemies changed. Not the best game if you are looking for the classic adventure style, but good if you like sort-of-shoot-ems-ups.

I've been meaning to pick up this game for such a long time now and finally managed to a few days ago, since then I have well and truely completed the whole game, including all of the side missions. The point I'm trying to make here is that the game is just too flipping small. I'm glad to say though that the size of the game was one of the few things that could have been better on this game.
The first thing that caught my eye was the lush graphics that made up the detailed western landscape. Waterfalls, canyons, enormous lakes, beautiful planes. The detail that went into the backgrounds and character designs looks painstaking. I think one of the things that makes the graphics so good is the kind of glowing smoothness that adds to the cinematic experience, something ... Read More:

This is a very good game. This is very hard. But otherwise this is realy fun!!!!!!!The thing I like the most is that you can fire 2 guns at the same time. This casino level is very hard. The bit where you have to get all the volts and where you have to destroy doctor no's aircraft is so so hard I only just completed it. The bit where you have to destroy the normal aircraft is hard. The hardest levels are hong kong and the casino level. The fantastic thing is how fun it is. I recommend you buy this great game. Child wrote this review.

I really liked this game, it's just lots of fun bashing Tom or Jerry (depending on who you chose to be) with all manner of household objects and generally being brutal to eachother. If you're a fan of the cartoons, or just a small child, you will absolutely love this.
