If you remember Sega Rally on the Saturn or even at the arcade - I'm talking about the original - you'll remember how cool it was and how fun it was with only a limited number of tracks. This PS3 version is amazing - driving, graphics, sound, all great. If you liked the original then buy this.

I have always been surprised by the speed with which certain gamers heap criticism on games. It's a cut-throat business, but sometimes when I read reviews, I get the impression that 9 out of 10 games must be absolute rubbish. Obviously this is not the case......

Moving onto the game itself.
I thought the graphics for a game of this nature were quite good. The planes are depicted in detail and the colourations and designs are impressive. I will admit that ground troops and vehicles sometimes lack detail, but this is not really that important when playing the game.
There are not that many flying games on the PS3, so you could argue that there is not much to compare it to. But having said that, the missions are varied and ... Read More:

apon recieving this item I thought it was great, well worth the money. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because i ordered this item on 18/2/08 and recieved it on 11/4/08 almost a two month wait for something as simple as a thumb pad,also it uses 2 triple A batteries and doesnt make use of the PS3's bluetooth capabilities (it doesnt use bluetooth it uses a wireless usb).
dont let this review put you off buying this item it is fantastic and works on the PS3 and any PC's and it is plug and play.

This is a true blue sequel to the PSP predecessors and unfortunately fails to take advantage of the much more powerful PS3 platform other than the somewhat improved graphics. For a PSP RPG it was good, on the PS3 it's weak, repetitive and vacuous.

The loot system is poor. I've seen it remarked that the items dropped my monsters are inferior to those your character can enchant/buy. And this is certainly true for at least 2 of the classes. Weapons are upgradeable with gems (with far too few slots) and change appearance but new weapons can't be picked up and equipped.

The "physics based combat" touted on the box is a over-hyped way of saying that every spell and combo attack causes the monsters to be propelled backwards and ... Read More:

Okay I am reviewing the PS3 version (As I am guessing you hit a link to look at the PS3 Version). Would someone please PLEASE stop people from reviewing games based on their experience of Xbox, PC and demo's!!!

FEAR is a first person shooter set in a dark and gloomey corner of the world, where a mystery bad guy (who is a bit of a hannibal lector) has taken control of the dark arts - not to mention a legion of cloned super soldiers. Its never quite explained but there is also a young ghost like girl (part based on Samara from the Ring and part based on the chinese girl from The Grudge) who strides around in the shadows, creating some genuinely 'jumpy' moments. Single player game is non-existent. It is so annoying that PS game titles that once had such good single player campaigm modes (quake and unreal)now don't! I think games should make it very clear in the title/box of the game if there is no online play. Dissoppointing ... I would much rather play Quake 2 on my PS1.

To quote the game description "Off the ice, act as the General Manager in an enhanced Dynasty Mode.
