This is as good as it gets if you're a tennis fan. Or if you have a any interest in the game! It's so much fun! I got this game yesterday and played it for hours - I couldn't put it down. First of all the players look amazingly lifelike. Daniel Handtuchova practically looks real! It was obviously marketed to fanboys and girls alike (For the guys we have Sharapova, Hingis, Hantuchova and Vadisova plus others) For the girls we have Nadal, Federer, Roddick ect...) You can play exhibition matches around the world and the announcer's voice will be in the local language (15 love ect...) I actually think that this is the best non-sequel game of this generation so far. Its that good.

Its inspired by the likes of Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia and Gears of War.

Mostly however, it takes its inspiration from the Indiana Jones movies. It has the non stop action, cheesy script, and spectacular set pieces of Speilbergs classics. In fact, if it had the Indiana Jones license, it would probably be lauded as one of the greatest games of all time and sold about 4 times as much.

Burnout Paradise (PS3)

I've been a master of all the series so far and have marvelled at the quality that each offering made to take it to the next level. Paradise is an interesting offering for next gen consoles. Open city (GTA style) and open levels. You decide at any given moment whether you complete races, stunts and takedowns. In between it allows for collecting items around the city including jumps, sign destruction and shortcuts. The only reason this didn't get five stars was the lack of crash mode. Criterion have substitued this with a 'Showdown' mode. You drive fast, hit two buttons and try and crash into anything that moves for points. I bought a PS3 console purely for this game (although I now have other games). The graphics are good (but GT5 and GRID shows it could have been better) Career mode over 5 seasons is excellent, trying to win the championship by the end. The car Evolution is good so long as you can drive consistent laps and the SIXAXIS control is surprisingly good. The annoyances though... In practice or time trial you are driving with the sun low in the sky making it it VERY hard to see where you are going, it would have been nice to select time of day! Once you enter an GP weekend in career mode you cannot save your progress until you complete the weekend, which could mean 6 hours driving! I have spent more time playing this online than I have in the single player mode. I have seen alot of reviews comparing to COD4 and although I think COD4 is better overall, this game has some great aspects. What this offers is a destructive environment where pretty much everything can be blown up!! Its superb. You can also ride varous vehicles and fly helicopters. Within that you can take up a variety of roles from firing weapons through to driving. Where I think the game is let down is on the ease of using the weapons. Everything is "jerky", running and firing is not smooth and it can take an age to change between weapons. COD4 is so much smoother. This game is superb. Great fun and I'd recommend it to anyone. If people are having timing problems, then they need only to sync the game to their system which is easily done. Buy it, love it!

We've had this three weeks and been playing intermittantly during that time. Have had great fun especially upgrading his armour suit and the weapons. Have been engrossed with the variety and imagination popped into these. Obviously this is not a game for serious gamers that want totally realistic/exact detail/very hard games. This is fun with totally made up weapons/a pleasure to play/very good graphics and lots to do.

Last night played through the last boss level and didn't realise at the time this was the end - so I was a bit miffed when the credits started to roll. I waited patiently for this to finish to see what happened and was rewarded with the opportunity to complete the game again in a harder setting OR go back to before defeating the end boss. The only thing to have improved since the last game is the graphics. The gameplay is worse than ever and the master league is worse than on the last game.

Even the graphics aren't that improved, the crowd looks awfull and they all move together, so when you score every single person in the crowd stands up at exactly the same time and they all lift up one arm (the same arm) at the same time. The gameplay is awfull, there's still the problem that you can run into the box and take it round the keeper then blaze it over the bar for no reason. players miss other easy chances for no reason either, you can absolutely batter a team and fail to score then more often then not the computer will go up the pitch and score with there first shot. just to shut people up about them mentioning about the colour of the gun.

the reason it is like this is because of the new gun laws.
fake guns now have to be painted in bright colours, and cannot be detailed, making sure no one thinks it's a real gun. (even though it has wires on it lol)

this includes for replica and air soft guns also.

I have been playing Fifa for about 10 years now and am always impressed by how much it improves year after year. It has it's flaws of course but what game hasn't? I'll start with the positives.
1. Licenses to teams, stadiums, players etc. (Very important to me and im not sure why)
2. The playing experience. You have to be precise with your passing and shooting. A lot of people complain about this but I like a challenge, so for those of you who complain about how hard it is to score or complete passes then maybe you need to master the game a bit more.
3. The online play is amazing. Different lobbies for every level and custom lobbies if you just want to play your mates.
