having recently just purchased the game i have to say it was a little hard to get to grips with first, but after a few gos it became very good to play..
the wwe 24/7 mode could of been better the main down point is that you cant use the hall of fame wrestlers to play in it, second of all it does get a bit boring and u lose intrest quite quickly..
The up side to the game is that the graphics are great as u would expect, the action is good, and u can have some really good wrestling matchs..

I believe the EA franchise has been the most enjoyable to date for boxing games. From playing Fight Night 2004 (and loving it), I couldn't wait to get my hands on this for the PS3. The game has a catchy soundtrack, career mode and very good graphics. It can get repetitive (training is split into 3 categories - tedious after a while), but the game-play makes up for this. The fights are intense and clever. The total punch system is easy to use after practice making the game very, very fun to play. Overall, not a five, because I do think EA could have made this game a lot lot better.

Bought this off Play for £17.99 - left it on my shelf for a month or two because I was enjoying COD4(like everyone else!!). Decided one day to have a go, and, wow, what a great surprise, very addictive, enjoy the tactical side of things. The only thing I can complain about is the aiming, I don't think it is that accurate. However, don't let that put you off. Personally speaking I am not too sure if this is worth £40 - but if you can get it for around £20 then you will have a bargain. It is unfair to compare with COD4 as it is a different type of game. Have not done the online thing yet, as I tend to put on COD instead. Hope this helps.

Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (PS3)

In response to the two critisisms made against this game.

1. Graphics. Half Life two looks dated compared to COD4 etc. Personally I enjoyed the older look of half life two and the interesting level design more than made up for this. Any frame rate issues were minimal and again outweighed by the superb gameplay. episode one and two have improved graphics.

2. Empty levels. The main game does have one or two levels where there is a feeling of a large space travelled between objectives, but this provides a sense of scale and atmosphere and personally I like a variety in the intensity of action. Episodes one and two are more concentrated which in a way is a shame.

Be warned first!! Don't become a vampire!! It first of all sucks because you can no longer be in sunlight so say goodbye to open shops! And theres a bug which doesn't let you complete the quest to cure yourself which means your pretty much stuck, I lost ALOT of gameplay because of that!!

But the game (other than that) is fantastic, I could easily say it's the best game I have ever played. There is just so much to it that you will end up losing sleep over.

Go on buy it you know you want to!!

First off, this game was not a disappointment and don't listen to anybody who says that it is. The people who have written a bad review for this game are either blind or just do not appreciate the brilliant gameplay and clever techniques used throughout.

I have only just got this game but am already enjoying it, having started a campaign with my brother. It can get very intense and you will probably end up shouting at one another (even on screen), but in the end it's worth it.

This is a great game - which is a little surprising since it is not considered one of the heavyweight titles for the PS3. The game looks great and the controls are wonderfully intuitve. The actual gameplay is well thought out and allows for some surprising tactical depth (especially when you unlock all the minions). The storyline is fun and it is the essence of having fun that underpins this game. The dialogogue is generally funny without appearing to try to hard and some of the set pieces make you grin (if not laugh out loud). Being evil is great fun and your minions are fantastic characters.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3)

Gone are the days when I used to be able to play games without my childen finishing them before me. That's why Oblivion is such a great game. Four members of my family are playing it and none of our games are the same. There are so many different quests and styles of gameplay. Whilst I go on a quest to unite the crusaders belongings, my children are moving over to the dark side, pick pocketing innocents and completing quests of mayhem and maiming.

This is a fantastic game that all can enjoy and when you watch someone else play the game is so vast that it shouldn't stop your enjoyment.

I have alot of different opions of this game. Before I owned it I read some reviews saying don't buy it for the the single player mode. When I got the game I really liked the single game mode, there are good cutscenes and you really feel like your in a team. the online is amazing, but there is one problem. its difficult to find a game with 16 people, even over 10 is sometimes a challenge. There just aren't enough people online which i was really disappointed about but when you do find a match it is a brilliant online experience only rivaled by COD4 and Warhawk.
