just like the title says i was really let down by gta4 for so many reasons,here are some of the things that cheesed me off with the game that so many magazines gave 10/10???? i would give it 7/10 being generous.
cheesed off with....
acting is poor and the characters have no charisma or charm,nico is a bland pot bellied immigrant who is just not cool at all and does missions for money he cant spend on anything?!
story is really weak,characters appear with no reason for them being in the story and no explanation as to how you got tangled up with them either.
driving with external view is rubbish,car handles like a bar of soap but strangely handling is fixed with bonnet view? i prefer to see the car though but it's like ... Read More:

I've never written a review on amazon, but after playing this game during the beta i felt compelled to tell people just how brilliant this game is.

First off you have the story mode, in this its like the normal single player type of game, its ingenius and fun to play, for the first time my girlfriend played with me and she hates game but loved this, its simple and just a great laugh, first customising your sackboy/girl and then playing the levels together, its cute, friendly and everyone can play.
The story mode could be sold on its own as its probably better than most games out but its probably less than half of what makes LBP Great.

If you want a PVR (Personal Video Recorder) then you need to get one of these. Everything works perfectly. I'm especially impressed in the appearance of the EPG, as it looks different to all the others.
Only bad thing is that you cannot record yourself playing PS3. But im sure SONY will bring that later.
Overall, a must have accessory.

its no coincidence the 5 has been droppde from the title.... its an expansion of call of duty 4 modern warfare.
if someone asked you if you would like a full campaign story, online co-op the same rank structure as call of duty 4 modern warfare. but set in a different time period.... i know i wouldnt say no. and theres realistic gore.

Wii Wheel (Official)

A Wii wheel comes with MarioKart the game but MarioKart comes into its own when you are racing someone else.

With one wheel and 2 children it was arguments every time the game was played - an extra wheel was a must.

The wheel transforms the game and the official wheel feels the best and is worth a couple of extra pounds.

From the blurb on EA's site, I wasn't expecting great things from this expansion. It sounded as though you just get a new building type, but there's much more to it than that.
Sure, a large element is the apartments, but even those are better than I anticipated. If you've ever been stuck with a homeless family with low funds, or if your single guy is friendless, apartments provide the perfect solution. If your sim feels lonely, they only have to go and tap on someone's door (at a reasonable hour), and some apartments cost less than 1k a week.
There's also a hint of magic in the air, but I suspect that it takes more than the hour that I played to find that

I, like many others enjoyed the original Colonization a lot. The hours I spent attempting to declare independence are uncountable.

I recently revisited the original, in attempt to see if my gaming ability had improved since the old days. I had to use a DOS emulator and bare the pixels graphics but it was still fun.

Then I heard about this; and pre-ordered without much doubt.

For me, I found that it was a very good replication of the original, and where things where different I felt they where improved. I do agree that later on in the game some time scales for immigration and education seem totally unrealistic based on the limit of 300 turns per game. My kids have thoroughly enjoyed this game - all it's billed to be BUT beware. As noted by other reviewers there is a design fault with the guitar. We bought the game in March from Amazon and after the guitar stopped working properly and a lot of ringing round we eventually were directed to Activision whose response is...buy a new one. The guarantee is only 90 days - is this mentioned anywhere when you pay £65 for the game? This is a known fault so why are the manufacturers not playing fair and replacing the faulty items??

Enjoy the game but you have been warned!

A quick update and a thank you to Amazon for once again superb customer service. Copied my complaint to them and they have agreed to replace the faulty game - can't say fairer than that!
