I was going on holiday and thought that I should get a game that I could just pick and play as I wanted, so I went for this.
The graphics on it are amazing for a PSP but I found the game too involved for my liking, I'm not a bike motorbike fan and found this game pretty difficult to get used to and the bike seemed to turn so slowly at high speeds, (which was probably too realistic for me) so I got frustrated with it and didn't play it all that much. I'm now back and got a refund, which is good. But would recommend this game if you like Moto GP's.

Yes admittedly there are a few drawbacks to this game, mentioned in other reviews, such as the reversal of the X and O keys and the somewhat bizarre animal picture rewards.
Having said that, this game works well on a lot of levels and has different layers which maintain interest for long periods of time. The Brain Age test keeps you coming back daily to try and improve your previous score, whilst the school-style grading of the training games makes you keen to improve on your scores in each game, because really, who doesn't want to be given A+ grades for everything they do?! Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)

Ridge Racer 2 is a great racing game, from power sliding round corners to going at 500 kmh! It has loads of different cars, some special cars too which look pretty snazy! The music is fab. I know the songs almost off by heart after only a month! The graphics look real life, and look amazing in the night scenes. It is not too hard or easy either, though it gets a lot harder through the levels. My friends find this game wicked aswell, and they usually find these sort of games a bore. Anyone who is looking for a fun, thrilling racing game, here it is.
I can only give praise for this game as it is so great!

Possibly one of the most striking titles available for the PSP, 'Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth' is a fascinating game for the more serious gamer. Not for action fans, this is an immeasurably detailed experience and you have to endure a good hour of cut scenes before getting involved yourself. But the battle system is easy to pick up and there is plenty for the old grey matter to chew over during play.

The premise of the game is to reap fallen souls for the on-going battle against the Vanir in Misgard and train them in combat. To do this, you must enter the dungeons and clear them of adversaries, completing tasks as you go. I got this for xmas and the game is fun and I can play my favourite charecter Tails. The bad news is he can't fly just like in Sonic 2 game the Mega Drive. You can make Tails fly sometimes by pressing the 0 button on the PSP. It is still a good game!

this game, just like any other wrestling game, can be great fun either by yourself or with friends. The variety of matches is a large spread, including the new ecx extreme rules match, which ads new weapons to the match. The 24/7 mode has an intriguing story, and can last a while. Unfrortunately, the story gets quite repetitive after you play through the first year. Probably the biggest flaw (in my opinion) is the amount of loading. I'd have to say that about 60% of the gameplay is waiting for the loading to finish. However, all games need to load, and since so much information is packed into the small umd, it is forgiveable. this is easy to do make sure you have a credit card with you and wipe the psp screen with little bit of water and apply the protector slowly gliding the card so theres no bubble also dosent degrade screen colours

Overall it's pretty good fun but the tracks are very short, with only 3 laps of around 2.5 km. Just get the best car and blast it around as fast as you can. Not huge amounts of skill involved but hey, it's only an arcade game. The fun is in trying different cars and tires. You can unlock some great cars by winning different sections. I finished the game quite quickly and did get a little hooked on it. A fun feature is you can play ad-hoc with a PSP nearby which does not have the game (game sharing). Haven't tried on-line yet, but we'll have a go. Don't be put off by people slagging off the analogue stick control (although Sega rally has both controls), I found the stick much easier to use. Firstly, i think that playing online against other people around the world is cool!! the aim of the game is to become the most feared pirate in the 16th century!! there are many different ways to succeed, the best way is probably to kill the other pirates, finding long lost relatives, buried treasure and taking over all of the islands. this is a great adventure game for those who have time for it, "Yerr think yerr can beat me, Jacob (rank 1st), yep, im the only 1 to be inducted into the hall of fame. :P
