Like another reviewer that can't get this to run on their quad core machine, I cannot get this to run on a Nvidia SLI based machine.
I have spent hours going through the EA helpdesks suggestions to get this to work, but basically it hasn't been tested on SLI and just crashes on start-up.
Bottom line, if you have a high spec machine that Rugby 08 should look wonderful on, you won't even see the splash screen.

Believe it or not, there was a time when full free-to-roam 3D worlds were just a gamer's pipedream. Oh sure, we'd had some pretty impressive action adventures in three dimensions - Metal Gear Solid and Soul Reaver come to mind - and even some truly memorable settings, from Hyrule in Nintendo's magnum opus Ocarina of Time to the then standard-setting streets of Sega's Shenmue... but these were all fantastical, story driven fictions, not the go-anywhere, do-anything sandbox offering many had craved.
And then it happened: GTA III. And since then gaming's never been the same; we've had a host of imitators, from your True Crimes to movie licenses like the Godfather and Scarface, and even the barmy-as-a-bright-blue-banana Just Cause, but GTA, in all its ... Read More:

I was a huge fan of the original Mercenaries, and had big hopes for this sequel. When I heard it was coming out on PS2, I was delighted.
However, this is a big letdown. If anyone remembers the cheap and nasty ports of PC games onto consoles in the late 90s and early 2000s (Carmageddon, Doom, Quake and so on...) you'll remember 'the fog'. It's a horrible shortcut for when developers are having problems with draw distance - everything above close range disappears into a thick fog, meaning that enemies can be shooting at you, yet you can't see them. Vehicles and buildings will suddenly appear out of the middle distance, leaving you with next to no time to react. This is how the PS2 version feels. I can't comment on the PS3 or X360 versions, as I've not ... Read More:

You probably know BUZZ games so just a nod to the wise and this edition is probably the best ( if you're into films anyway!! ). More or less the same as other BUZZes but some nice new rounds like the final points round where anyone can storm a late win. Get it and be happy !!

This game like the many others in its series is amazing. Fun to play before going out clubbing / pubbing / partying or a good way to get people going and out of their shells at tense gatherings when people don't know eachother :o). This version of the classic game is aimed at the late teens to 30's wannabe rock grunge boys (me) and girls who wanna play the guitar. Full of excellent indie rock classics such as "Come as you are" by Nivarna, "Favourite Game" by The Cardigans and "Don't stop me now" by Queen. Also got the gutsy girl singers that make u wanna party like Gwen Stefani and KT Tunstall.
I really would advise this to all the guys and girls out there who love playing singstar but get fed up of the cr**py r+b cheesy pop and ballad filler on the other disks ... Read More:

Although it has fewer songs than other singstars, it's a firm favourite with ladies of a certain age around here. We are 20-50 years. A few glasses of wine and we can be anyone featured on the track list. Should have been called "Anthems for ladies who dont get out so much but still need fun." Tracks do seem more female orientated but thats not a bad thing. Who said PS2 was for boys anyway?
