There were no reviews for this game posted when I bought it, but having been nagged for several days I went ahead and took the plunge. As with so many GBA games I was worried the game would be played with for 10 minutes then regulated to the bedroom floor. This new Noddy game seems to be a hit, although I must stress I don't think older children (over 6) will find the game much fun. The easy level took about 45 minutes to complete but strangely enough the game seems colourful enough to warrant several replays at this level. The normal level takes a bit longer. I tried the normal level myself and the one down side I found was the driving, Noddy's car drives like a 2CV on ice. But all in all the game has ... Read More:

you know when you're a kid and you spend your xmas money on something, then it turns out to be rubbish, but you don't wanna admit it to yourself because you just spent your money on it? well i'm a student now and have more money than ever cos of student loan etc so i can admit it, and well, i bought this game, and its rank. and i only paid £6.
graphically, this game is so bad. i mean, i can kinda understand why some may say it looks good, its just, well, clever. its basically loads of really quick (and bad) 2D images flashing past the screen quickly, to give an illusion of 3D, and it works badly. the graphics of the actual car look great, but it just sits glued to the middle bottom of the screen, pivoting while the horrible scenery ... Wow what a suprise, normally the stuff Zoo releases is budget re-releases of old games and odd odscure Jap games that no one is interested in. I suppose Gekido could fall into the latter but this little game is different it's a real gem. It's a scrolling beat em up in the style of final fight, but where this game differs is that it has RPG elements and Manga styling. Indeed there is also street fighteresque special move combinations. The graphics are really cool with anime cut scenes and detailed sprites(even on a gameboy player). The sound is wonderful it's eerie and dramatic which is appropriate as it takes place in a deserted village which is full of zombies. There are a few problems with the game though, the anime cut scenes whilst good the first ... Read More:

Don't get me wrong, Duke is a great game and it can't have been easy getting it onto GBA but the problem that I found is that like playing Duke on a mid-spec PC the GBA suffers lots of slow-down and jerkyness during play. Also, on the PC we had the option to move the crosshairs around the screen which there just aren't enough controls to do on GBA so they got around it by the player actually managing to shoot things that are nowhere near the line of sight (eg- you can be at the top of stairs and shooty forward yet the monster at the bottom of the stairs will be hit!). Other than that though, it is true to the Duke series, and if you can put up with the minor flaws its worth a go!

We've had pokemon pinball, sonic pinball, so now we have House of the dead pinball, well, Pinball of the dead. The game is like most pinball games but with in game features, like zombies, monsters etc. Its actually a very good game, theres 3 different stages to do, with alot of things to discover, like if you have enough points, you will have boss fights with real bosses from the house of the dead series. This is a game that you could just put on when your travelling or if your waiting. Works both ways.

Gradius Galaxies places would-be star pilots at the controls of the Vic Viper, a fast and deadly attack ship. Players can choose their Vic Viper's initial weapons configuration, including twin cannons, photon missiles, and beam lasers. Those weapons can then be enhanced during gameplay by grabbing power ups. Gradius Galaxies' side-scrolling action hearkens back to the early days of arcade shoot-'em-ups while building on the classic gameplay that gamers have come to expect from the Gradius series. Wave after wave of enemies hound the player through 8 all new stages, while colossal end bosses fill the screen with a constellation of heavy fire.
