This is a fairly faithful version of the original NES version, and if you're a big fan of that then you'll no doubt enjoy this.
I loved this on the ZX Spectrum, which is maybe why I'm not a big fan of this release. As with the NES original, the screen is very cluttered. The brick wall background with the many moving sprites make the screen look messy.
I'm glad that the familiar NZ Story theme tune has ben kept though - that was a nice touch.
So in a nutshell: Fan's of the NES version wanting a nostalgia hit will get just that, but for someone picking this up for the first time - it might feel a bit poor.

I got this game for christmas and wasn't 100% sure what to expect. I tried it out and it started really well. You are a new type of pokemon trainer called a Ranger and instead of training pokemon up to fight other trainers, you are a ranger who captures pokemon in order to use there abilities and then letting them go.
The way you do it is using the styler to circle the pokemon and when you have circled it a number of times without one of its attacks hitting your line, it is caught. The pokemon, unlike other pokemon games, walk around in full view and will charge if they see you (or run a way)! This is a whole new way of looking at pokemon, original, exciting and fun!
You start in a small town, doing small tasks to ... Read More:

This has been the first Phoenix Wright game I played, but I can guarantee it won't be the last. Even though 'Justice For All' is technically a sequel to the first Ace Attorney game, it still stands it's ground perfectly by itself.
The basic essence of this game is that is more of a "visual novel" than your typical gameboy title. As with all Phoenix Wright games, 'Justice for All' is no exception when it comes to being founded on a lot of text. However, dull as that may sound, the scripting is ingeniously done and woven in to often wacky, deep characters (something which has always been a rarity with games) and twisting, engrossing storylines.
In 'Justice For All', you'll play as Phoenix Wright, a defence lawyer who has a knack of ... Read More:

I bought this game on impulse (I usually play role playing ones such as Phoenix Wright and Lost in Blue) as I wanted something different and fun - and I really like ice skating.
The game itself is quite straightforward. You choose a character and then compete for the title of Ice Princess, basically by completing one ice dance at a time successfully (this is done by completing mini challenges whilst the character skates, such as tapping out bubbles in rhythm to the music or spinning a disk very quickly - don't worry, you get to watch the performance back if you missed any moments of glory). Along the way you get to build up points, talk to the other characters, add to your wardrobe or just practice your moves. If you complete every round you may become ... Read More:
