this game is very good especially if you like lord of the rings because it is parts of the films that have been edited that you wouldnt have seen before. the graphics are excellent and you can play as a variety of armys and heroes.

The game is very realistic and I love playing this - I have been looking for a suitable strategy game and this was perfect. I really can not express how good it really is, but I can say that the graphics are amazing and so is the actual history (I know the history of Rome).

First of all, if you havn't got good eye-sight you'll have a job trying to find the new stuff. What more can I say? No imagination has gone into this add-on at all. Robbed!

AoE has a sound pedigree & the Conquerors' Expansion is the icing on the cake.
The facility to customise your own camaigns is irresistible & enthralling.
It has excellent graphics & a number of levels on which to play helps prevent early frustration & encourages learning.
This is ideal for both the seasoned game campaigner or the absolute beginner.
Hours of endless escapism - fabulous!

Not a game for Settlers fans, its been dumbed down a good measure.
I bought it for my girlfriend, but she does not play a lot of PC games so I thought it would be OK for her. Its certainly easy enough. She did enjoy it to a point but got bored of it.
I will admit its fun enough to play for a while, but the total absence of depth will leave you not bothering to return. Can highly recommend for young children, or people very new to gaming. But to anyone else I would suggest your not get your monies worth.

Firstly, i have been a massive fan of the Age of Empires games since i first played it on a friends computer. The first installment was a basic template of better features to come, the second installment had great storylines, great/easy gameplay...in short very addictive. Age of Empires 3 however, i think just comes short of the expectations that it was meant to live up to.
Don't get me wrong, The graphics are great if you have the cards to back it up,new features such as soldiers having guns and home cities and so on, But i found myself beginning to get annoyed and frustrated with the "half thought out" storyline.
For example in previous games, you would have the scottish free themselfs from their English enemies, or have the mongolians destroy ... Read More:

In the land of Cyrodil I found a new Aelied ruin near port town of Anvil it looked like a huge broken, white wedding cake with a great statue in the centre. I tried to enter past the first room that had two sacrificial alters, with two Deadra guardians but was unable. A carved block with a crystaline centre is unmovable. After wracking my brains and examining everything, even shooting at the chandaliers, I decided to give in gracefully and see what I could turn up by gathering information.
Which led me, in a roundabout way, to find a new portal had opened off the coast of Bravil. A portal to the Shivering Isles. I went through it and within a few days had:
Seen a room turn into butterflies.
Collected several tons of new and slightly disturbing alchemy engredients. ... Read More:
