I got my XBOX 360 just before Xmas 2007. I was keen to join the HALO fraternity so decided to start at the beginning and purchase this via the XBOX Originals downloadable games.

I have to say that despite its age it is a superb game and its obvious why the series has gone stratospheric.

The game is colourful with plenty of detail. The graphics stand up to scrutiny yet. Its a big game with about 8 levels involving roughly 4 missions each. The music and sound effects perfectly compliment the game.

The game is simple to play with an intuitive if not easy to learn control system and is quite forgiving to the gamer. You might find this makes it easy but there are still a few good challenges which are difficult ... Read More:

the new Xbox action replay is awesome! for my birthday last week i got an Xbox! I only had ONE game and it sucked (golf game)! but with my Xbox and sucky game i got the action replay! at first i didn't get it, but all my freinds had it tooo! now my freinds could send me THIERsaved games on my computer. i still only have only one game, a crappy golf game, but also have the action replay with all cheats and now i play my friends games without even having to get the game! action replay is a CHEEP way to have awsome Xbox fun (that is if your friends have action replay too)!

I have tried so hard to like this game. I would say that stealth games are probably my favourite genre next to first person shooters and with a while to wait before the next (eagerly awaited) MGS game I thought that I should try the Slinter Cell series and OMG have I been disappointed. After going on the net and reading tons and tons of amazing reviews I am left a little confused. I can't believe how bad this game is and how many people seem to love it. There doesn't seem to be any skill involved in it, the control system is cluncky and in-accurate. The enemys seem to have super human abilities and can even see through walls (yes you read that right). The Grand Theft Auto series seems to be something everyones played. And it would seem now that many gamers are still playing this classics, that have 'thankfully' been brought over to the xbox. Apart some smoother graphics, and quicker load times, the game keeps what made it so special - a whole world for you to explore. And its yours!
Yep, you don't even have to do the missions to enjoy GTA. Afterall, how many gamers can say they've never been with mates, and made up their own challenges? Whether it be.. "Who can make it across 'that' bridge on GTA 3" or "Who can shoot down the most police helicopters". The game just seems to go on, and you rarely get tired.

It was just awesome! i just completed it after a total of 12 hours of gameplay and i loved every second. Im not usually patient enough to play long-winded story-lined games, but this is ... exceptional. BUY IT!!!

First time I played this game, it brought back memories of Driver, although this game is a lot more about the racing than it is about chases.

You can either play a career game where you get to fight your way up to the top challenging 15 rivals, there's a challenge mode where you have to complete challenges (60 of them or so) I didn't play many of these as I had done similar things in the career mode anyway, and then there's multiplayer, which I haven't player either on or off-line so I don't know what this mode is like. In career mode there is a list of requirements that you need to complete before you can challenge the next rival.

Burnout: Revenge (Xbox)

Without a doubt one of the best car games i've ever played..

Burnout Revenge is even better than Burout 3: Takedown. There's lots more
races, cars, and challenges. This game is as intense as ever and never
fails to keep you on the edge.

The gameplay here is brilliant, the tweaks to the racing mode with
vertical takedowns, shortcuts, crashbreakers and traffic checks make the
game this much more fun.

The music doesn't seem to have changed much, although i usually have my
own going in the background.

My favourite thing is being able to smash up my car and everybody elses
(basically go mad) without worying about insurance..!!

Fantastic fun..!!

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 (Xbox)

After playing many FPS games that had a "Blow up everything in your way" gameplay it was nice to get my hands on a little more of a tactical game. Rainbow Six 3 breaks away from mindless shooting and adds alot more thought to the FPS genre.

The game puts you in control of a squad of 3 men who act as covering fire aswell as other back up and support. This adds to the games diversity and you feel a real sense of leadership as you command your troops. Also the game is alot more realistic to other FPS games, in RS3 if you take a couple bullets you die and if you happen to live you dont have any method of regaining your health as there are no health packs. what a great game plenty of obstacles to get past and plenty of sord fighting very dificult to complete but very interesting and clever the way they made it definatly a game to buy
