I bought this game thinking that it would be as good as rising sun but this game is sooo unrealistic for example I have a sniper rifle, I headshot a badguy I think ok he's dead annoyingly he stands up !!! The people look like paper, the only detailed part of the game is the weapons.

It's the game that football fans wait all year for, and it doesn't dissapoint. It really immerses you in the game, to make you feel as if you really are out on the pitch.
Perhaps the only problem for seasoned players of fifa is that the only way to unlock the top level of difficulty is to win every game in a season of Manager Mode, which I myself sometimes just can't be bothered to do!
But you've probably got a lot more staying power than me.
All in all this is definitely a great game, beaten only in quality by fifa 08.

As many will already know before purchasing this latest Doom opus, the graphics are quite impressive. Yet as most avid gamers will declare, it is the gameplay that truly matters most and to be brutally honest, I found this game to be lacking in many aspects...

An unoriginal plot with concepts snatched from various films and games, what kept me playing until the dissapointing end was merely the hope that things would get better, or even progress at all! Under the veil of nice graphics and impressive lighting effects one cannot help but see the game as a blatant rip-off with its Resident Evil suspense, carbon-copy of Half-life's storyline (if only a little fuzzy around the edges) and a vaguely interesting 'messaging' system where one ... Call of Duty 2: The Big Red One (Xbox)

I bought this when I found out it was backwards compatible and wanted something to wet my WWII FPS appetite until MOH Airborne comes out. I'll start by saying that the graphics are some of the best current-gen (or last-gen, or whatever) graphics I've seen. The gameplay is good and solid, apart from the annoyingly weak 30 calibre machine guns. Also there were too many of those dull missions where you get stuck in a tank or on a mounted machine gun.
However the attempt at making you care about your squad pretty much failed. You only get a sort of (without sounding too nerdy) game relationship with them if you listen intently during cutscenes, and even then it's shakey at best.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox Classics)

Many people will be aware of how many spin offs of star wars games there were on the old consoles. Most of them glitchy and full of gameplay plot holes. But this makes up for all of it.

Character creation at the beginning is very limited but from that point onwards this game is pure gold. You have the ability to choose whether to be good or evil but there are so many options of choice that you can literally end up annoying or even killing almost everyone in the missions.

The levelling up system is simply the point system where you get to customise how your character gets better and not only that but the Jedi characters get some great force abilities that even involve choking your enemies to death (Mwahaha!!) and the equipment ... Read More:

Oddworld : Munch's Oddysee (Xbox)

This game has completley lost the magic,the beauty, the originality and the dark and creepy atmosphere of the previous two oddworld inhabitants games that encompasse you totally. Munch's Oddysee is pretty but is just like dozens of other collect items and run games. I ploughed through it hoping to regain the enjoyment and involvement of the the other two games - to no avail. It has lost such a lot being converted into a 3D game, there was no need, it was already perfect. Such a shame.

It was just awesome! i just completed it after a total of 12 hours of gameplay and i loved every second. Im not usually patient enough to play long-winded story-lined games, but this is ... exceptional. BUY IT!!!

Nothing else but great. I laughed out loud at some of the cutscenes...eg. a load of lego workmen spinning around on chairs when Darth inspects the Death Star. The graphics are excellent and the whole package works well. Not just for kids.

If you missed out on the hype-machine that is Halo and its successor (if so, how the Hell did you manage that?) then this is a fantastic opportunity to catch up. Halo is still as awesome today as it was when it was released about 4 years ago. An engrossing storyline and some sumptuous visuals go to make on hell of a game. It's no walk-over, so you'll be tied to it for some time, especially if you decide to take it on at Legendary level. Halo 2's single player mode has come in for some criticism, given that it feels 'unfinished'. You get the feeling that there was more to come, but the bosses at Bungie said "Leave it for the sequel".
