I played F-Zero X for hours on end when it was first released on N64, so when I finally got round to buying it for gamecube, I was instantly taken back. The gameplay is amazing, I love how you have to steer and tilt at the same time, you actually feel like the G's are pushing you back in your seat.

There's also a new story mode where you play as Captain Falcon. It's O.K, but I didn't really bother with it.

The only drawback of this game is that its not very long, and I don't think they should have bothered with the custom cars thing. The multi player is amazing. Wiked game, must buy!!!

Before we start, nothing can compete against the original Baldurs Gate. But this is a well thought out, if occasionally repetitive, gaming experience. Looks wonderful, but loses a star due to some frame-rate lag in some places. But that doesn't matter, you will be to engrossed in the story. Shame the next one wasn't released on the gamecube. Leaves this a bit open ended.

I have had this for a while and really haven't bothered with it too much, why?
If I had seen past the overhyped reviews I would have seen a game that has, very few save points that have to be traipsed back to time and time again, respawning enemies the minute you leave/re-enter a room, combine this with the lack of save points and it's a nightmare to save your game should you just want to switch it off,the developers obviously thought you wouldn't want to do anything else!
You have to scan everything by changing visors constantly back and forth, why it wasn't passive is beyond me,and you can get lost quite easily as you flitter to and fro doing one of the above.
In it's defense, the controls are very good, the graphics are crisp and solid and ... Read More:

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (GameCube)

If you love Star Wars like my self and fancy a shooting romp, you can't go wrong with this game. Watched New Hope, The Empire Strikes back and Return Of The Jedi? Well you are in for a treat!

The game creates mini levels that cover the best scenes out of all 3 films and does it all in Lego style. Yes, everything just looks like it's made out of Lego and it's way cool.

Most of the levels comprise of running and shooting and a bit of puzzle solving, but nothing to over tax the brain.
Other levels have you flying various space ships or speeders, it's all fun!

The aim of the game is to collect studs and find secret items to unlock bonus levels or characters. This makes the game great as you can blast through it in 7 hours, ... Read More:

Gauntlet Dark Legacy (GameCube)

If you're of a certain age, you might remember hoarding your change all week so that you could go and meet your mates for a protracted Saturday game of Gauntlet.

Gauntlet was an entertaining, lightweight RPG based on hack and slash, and only really worked as a multiplayer game - whilst the game itself was about slaying monsters, getting powerups and collecting treasure, half the fun was from bickering with the other players about who ate all the food and who shot the potion, whilst stealing everything you could get your hands on.

Gauntlet : Dark Legacy will be instantly familiar to those who've played the original & has much the same game mechanics - it's a multiplayer thrash fest that will have you ostensibly co-operating as a team whilst ... Read More:

Timesplitters - Future Perfect (GameCube)

this is one of the best shoot'em ups ever.if you have timesplitters 2,you will not be disappointed.the story mode has so much more depth and less cartoony levels and better graphics.there are now 150 characters to play(basically all have to be unlocked),new arcade levels including mexican mission, training ground and chinese restaraunt from the TPS2.you can even drive vehicles!new weapons and characters(including old ones like monkey, snowman, gingerbreadman etc.)

the only bad things I can think of are that there is only 1 type of timesplitter, and the mapmaker.
the mapmaker is still pretty good, but you can onluy play with 8 bots on the maps you have made!
to summarise,BUY THIS GAME IF YOU LIKE SHOOT'EM UPS!

Splinter Cell is well known for its captivating storyline, impressive graphics, clever level designs and in my opinion, being the best stealth game ever since metal gear solid.
In this first installment, the game has you climbing poles, absailing down the sides of buildings and knocking out enemies in a number of different ways.
You're Sam Fisher. The American government's spy.
Your work is completely secret. No one except for the government knows you exist. And if captured by the enemy you don't.
You lurk in the shadows, guards patrolling by. You must be slow in your movements or they will hear you. You creep behind them, and grab them from behind, putting a gun to their head.
Sometimes you can extract useful information from these people.

Wolverine is Back and is Kicking ass in his own Multi Platform game.

In this adventure you will encounter countless enemies and familiar faces as you fight your way through the game in order to finally find out who has mutanted your body. you will encounter familiar enemies along the way, such as: Magneto, Juggernaut and sabertooth.

The gameplay is awesome and you will be able to continue playing for hours, there are many fighting combinations to do and many ways of defeating your enemy. There is a new strike attack that can be used to good affect on your enemies.

The game's graphics are very good. it's about time that Wolverine i.e the coolest character in the X-Men series had his own game.

This game does the X-men series and Wolverines name proud. ... Read More:

So the lastest Sims game makes its inevitable move of the PC on to the consoles, and here we have the gamecube version. And unless you've been living under a rock for the past few years, the sims 2, like the first sim game; is a very fun and refeshing different game that has you guiding a virtual person's life (sim) good or bad thoughout their life.

Good:
- The classic, different and addictive 'The Sims' gameplay is all here, and you'll be busy putting in the gameplay hours to see how successful and happy you can get your sim, or how much money and possesions you can get, or just making your sim's life a misery!
- The humour and the good graphics / control system is here as well, its a hoot to play and it feels and looks good to.

Bad:
- This game is better ... Read More:
