For those looking for a slightly stealthier FPS, such as 007 Nightfire, look away now. This game throws you in, all guns blazing.
Gameplay:
Great fun. The trill of it runs through your body playing this. You wipe out hoards of enemies; turn a corner to find another ten backed up by some sort of helicopter. It can be hard, it can be easy but always worth playing. The lurning curve is not too steep, nor to shallow, after the first mission which is easy it get gradually harder, with you running deep underground, flying helicopters, blowing up bridges, driving tanks etc.
The futuristic aspect works well as you have a vast array of weapons from the bog standard pistols to the Nano Grenade Launcher to the havoc wreaking rail gun, ... Read More:

The 2006 FIFA World Cup may have come and gone, but this is still a great fun football game which could have been even better if it weren't let down from its at times dodgy controls. The control system, which is the most important factor in a football game, is somewhat frustrating with commands often going in the wrong direction or shots and passes failing to meet the target you gave them. The players move far too robotically and it can really get on your nerves. However although it somewhat overshadows the game, it doesn't take away the entertainment and fun of this EA Sports title. This game IS what the gamecube is remembered for! and now it has the chance of a second lease of life from people playing in on the Wii. I have never come across a game like this before. The graphics are fantastic and i love the little touches with the Pikmin noises! although the noise they make as they drown or get burnt by fire is a little heartbreaking!. At times it can be frustrating as you realise you have navigated your way across a tough terrian to find one of the ships parts but havent got enough Pikmin to carry it back! *whoomph* thats the sound of throwing the controller on the floor!. Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (GameCube)

The last Tony Hawk games I played where 1 and 2 so there is fair bit of new stuff in this version.

The ability to jump off your board and run, jump and climb about has been added. If you jump off mid combo you have a short ammount of time to jump back on and do a trick or the combo ends. It doesn't really add as much to the game as manuals which was one of the big impovements between THPS 1 and THPS 2. The levels don't take advantage of it that well. The control and camera are not as good as when skating and it can be annoying for the goals that require you to walk and climb about.

The story mode is a nice addition as well. Mostly because it gets rid of the timer so you can mix exploring and skateing about with goal chaseing instead ... Read More:

Ty The Tasmanian Tiger 2 - Bush Rescue (GameCube)

The game is rather easy until it becomes rather annoying as you find yourself trying to play with the numerous glitches.
The storyline is weak and lifespan is okay, about 6 hours.
I would only advised you to buy this game for under tens or if you bought the first one.

SSX Tricky (Gamecube)

Having now played SSX3, I would definitely recommend that rather that this older version - the gameplay is far more slick, and there are a *lot* less bugs. However, the levels on this, especially the hugely tricky levels (Tokyo Megaplex) are fantastic fun, and I always get the Run DMC "It's Trickaaaayyy" in my head for weeks after playing. :)
