As a huge Shrek fan, I bought this game as soon as it was released. I was pleased to discover that the game was not just a rushed movie tie-in and could quite easily stand as a great game in its own right. Luckily te Shrek license just adds to this great game.

The gameplay is fast, frantic and furious button bashing - however this is mixed with just the right amount of puzzle solving and mini games. These include chasing a carriage while riding a dragon or finding a needle in a haystack! You can play as one of the 4 characters on screen by simply changing character at any time - you just hit L or R. Sonic Heroes: Players Choice (Gamecube)

This game is actually pretty slick. Its one of those things you can appreciate more the second time around. Sonic Heroes introduces a whole new battle system, switching between; power formation, speed formation, and flight formation.

Lifespan: about 20+ hours
gameplay: 9/10
sound track: 9/10
multi player mode: 8/10
overall: 7/10

I think that this i quite a good game and i would recomend it to any sonic fan.

Sonic Mega Collection

It's basically the Sonic games from the Megadrive. I bought it for nostalgia but was actually bored to play these games again. Why get a Gamecube to play megadrive games on it. There are way better platforms to get on the GC. Super Mario Sunshine is ace!

Super Monkey Ball 2

What people need to keep in mind is that Super Monkey Ball is a bit of light-hearted fun. Saying that, some stages can keep you rigid with tension and then overcome by the euphoria of finally completing them. I have SMB1, but it remains very much unplayed in contrast to its sequel. If the cut scenes annoy you in story mode, then you can just skip them. In addition, the excellent party games have brightened many rainy afternoons. Superb level design coupled with tight controls; in my eyes, this game does no wrong.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing (GameCube)

I am a huge James Bond fan, have been ever since I was a young boy and this game finally delivers a real bond-like experience that you can control.

The game play is what really sets this game aside from regular first person shooters (FPS). There is a running story with each level feeling like a scene from a James Bond movie.

The experience is greatly helped along by the real actors voicing the parts. So James Bond is Pierce Brosnan, Q is Judi Dench etc. This all helps with the level of immersion into the game.

Not only are the graphics incredibly well realised for a Game Cube game the game levels themselves are all beautifully rendered. Each level offers a degree of variety that continues to surprise all the way through ... Read More:

My mother bought this game for me when she had me a Gamecube for Christmas...

When I first unwraped it I thought 'oh, geez' but after playing it for about 5 minutes my opinion of this game went up - especially after you get the jet pack...

I was well impressed with the music and the cut scenes plus the guy who plays Jango Fett in AOTC provides the vocals in the game (can't remember the guys name).

Although a bit of a no-brainer its loads of fun. Just misses out on a 5 star as it does get a litte repetative...

Mario Party 5

Mario party 5 is the second gamecube istalment of nintendo's multiplayer smash. Being number 5, it could be thought that the game will feel old. Not true.

The major change with this instalment is the rehashed single player mode. The single player has always been mario partys down fall. With a single map lasting over an hour, failure was extreemly annoying, this has been altered so that now a typical story mode map lasts around 15 mins. For some this may be disserpointing, but a standard map can still be played with 3 cpu comtroled rivals, so its not like your missing anything is it?

Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc (GameCube)

This is the best Rayman adventure yet, all the classic characters Murfy,Globox and Rayman are back along with plenty new characters. The graphics are great and all the characters have a proper voice, which they didn't have in the previous games. This game even has abit of humour in it, ie when Rayman falls into a witch's bathroom and she says that he should be ashamed. This game has long levels and bosses. It also has extra's that you can eventually unlock. The only flaw in this game is the camera angles, they can get annoying when your doing a hard part in the game. Overall, this is a good game and people who like adventure games should buy this now.
