If you own, have owned or know someone who owns a console the odds are you'll have played a version of Tony Hawks. This ubiquity is both this games strength and weakness.
If you like the series then you probably own a couple of versions and know just how "just one more go" catchy the games can get. The new story based progression adds to the feel of the game nicely.
However if you do own a version that you haven't finished yet then this isn't worth the money until you polish that one off.
If you don't like the series then frankly this doesn't change it enough to have any chance of altering your opinion.
Buy it if you've finished the others but don't bother if you haven't.

I don't normally review but this game is really underated. I'm 35, an ex-squaddie & love action games, this one is right up there with Star Wars Battlefront 1,2 & Rogue trooper - which is just terrific.
Response of the graphics to the controls in Spartan is fantastic - avoiding common gaming problem with loads of opponents on screen i.e. any idiot can get the same result by thrashing the controller.
Subsequent levels & story board are good too. The Hydra level is the only poor level in my opinion.
Later levels provide more weapons & advanced power for special moves which give greater playability as you re-visit the game to try to perfect control of specific weapon.

This game is so much fun! You are in command of two squads of elite military soldiers and you command them to move, shoot and cover through relistic war zones throughout the game. At first you HAVE to do about five training missions to go on to the main campaign which is a bit of a downer but the game more than makes up for it with its realism. You almost feel like your actually there commanding them!
Although you cant actually aim and shoot at enemies yourself the way the squads work just makes you forget this and it looks so good. You could actually learn to be some sort of clandestine army man with this game!
The graphics are okay but nothing special and it still manages to look very good. The sounds you get are immense. ... Read More:

I must say I love the series & zombie killing'n all but it just isn't the same I mean what happened to the good old weapon select eh? and the unlockable house of the dead 2 I love on Dreamcast but on xbox it has the worst graphics and glitches that after staring at the good effects on HOTD 3 you just don't feel like playing this horrible mess. you can't even see the crosshair on no 2. overall It's a good game but too dear if you get me.

Well first of all let me just say that if you like football manager games then this is the game for you!! Champ Man 02-03 recreates the atmosphere that would be experience by a real manager. The immense tension is there, whether in the Champions League final or in the last game of the season and you need points to get out the relegation zone. This game has it all. The transfers are so reallistic. A player wont come to a club if the clubs reputation isnt good. You will need to negoitae reallistic contracts with players if you want them to come. Seriously mark my work, this game is just too good.
Well i belive personally, that the xbox version is much better than the Pc version. Firstly you wont be saving so much memory on to your pc hard drive and secondly ... Read More:

I have not played Driver 1 or 2 but I have played this one. The graphics are good but not superb. Sometimes it is hilarious because civilians jump off cliffs and policeman bounce on the hoods of their cars. There are three cities, Miami, Nice and Istanbul. Out of the three Miami is the best. There are lots of stunt opportunities in every city which is good because the cops normally go flying often doing about twenty barrel rolls before landing. There are lots of cheats, such as unlimited amm and invicibility. The mission mode is good but it is very hard. The first mission you have to chase a profilic gangster. The crimes that the gangs commit are co-ordinated by Jericho, the man you're trying to stop in the game. In the last mission you have to chase him, with on the ... Read More:

Fight Night 3 is the first boxing game I've ever bought. The first time I played it i went straight onto the Career mode. I thoght 'Wow this is great!' but the career mode is very, very repetitive, you start of as an ameteur boxer and make your way to be the next champion. It's the same after every fight - Sing contract, Train and then fight. Althogh the career mode lacks, the overall game play is really good - loads of different types of hits (including illeagal blows!) Great graphics, great sound and commentary and lots of famous boxers (Ricky Hatton my favourite!) Overall a great, fun game.

Men of Valour. Its pretty sweet, especially the co-op mode, good fun for a night in or whatever. Sometimes a bit annoying when you get enemies running out of bushes which are off the map. Overall though, you'll get a few hours out of it, and its mildly useful for facts about the Vietnam War. As said in the review title, don't spend too much, but go for it if you're bored of halo (basically impossible, but you know).

I'm a huge fan of the Hitman Games, and was eager to get my hands on the third edition (Contracts). After working through the first half of the missions and on to the second half, I started getting the sense I had seen some of the missions before. Went back to the first Hitman and low and behold, nearly all of the missions are direct copies of those in the first game. If youve not played the first Hitman theres no problems, however anyone who has will see these copies.
