Not to be rude to the game's designers, but I really suspect that they have no idea what makes a good game. With a license for an X-Men game, they could have done so much better than the tripe they've actually produced. The action is slow, the characters are unresponsive to a degree that makes your blood boil, and the fighting itself is so tedious due to a lack of variation that it's untrue. There are little things in the game that would have made it quite good if not for the mind-numbingly dull gameplay, such as the cinematic-esque interaction with the backgrounds, being able to knock each other out of windows, throwing characters into a different room etc. However, the longer you play it the more you'll wonder what on earth possessed ... Psi-opps is a great game, which really brings something new to the genre. The mind powers are really fun and it opens up a whole new dimension of the game. What I think was the best part to this game was all the different ways you good complete tasks, like the Hitman series. For instance, go around sneakily and knock everyone out, using silenced pistols to take out cameras, or go in guns galore or use your psycic powers and not lift a finger. It has a compelling storyline with well developed characters and a simple yet solid plot. It has a lot of extra levels, and being able to play as bosses allows you to use stronger powers, but after playing it through on elite, spending some time playing as the bosses and completing all the extra missions, ... This is widely regarded as a classic game. The original was good but this sequel is much better. I don't think the same can be said for Project Gotham 3 unfortunately. Anyway the game has a few different modes to play to keep everyone happy:
The Kudos World Series is the best part of the game. It consists of a number of challenges per car class set in many famous cities around the world like Edinburgh and Moscow. The first car class includes the likes of the VW Beetle and the Mini Cooper and as you advance you unlock the next car classes which include faster and faster cars. In all there are 172 challenges. The aim at the beginning of each challenge is to choose a difficulty level and try and meet the target. There are 5 difficulty levels from ... Read More:

Earned in blood is most definetly the most realistic, and most enjoyable ww2 game ever created. I have played medal of honour rising sun, and frontline. I have played call of duty 3 also. They are, admittidly, both decent games, but neither comes close to Earned in blood.
The realism is incredibe. Blood spurts from enemies in a beleivable manner, and when you are hit, blood will spray across the screen from the direction of the shot. Mortar fire that doesn't kill you can knock you down, cue a 'ringing in the ears sound'.
The german AI is perfect. The enemy squads move to counteract your moves. They are intelligent and agressive, but not unbeatable. You will have to use a sreies of tactics to eradicate them.
You must:

This along with Max Payne was a game I never thought I'd buy due to it's much publicised,at the time, bad language/violence,however when it was cheap enough I thought I'd chance it.
I was wrong, yes they do swear a lot but they are on death row,I didn't expect them to be model citzens as it were.
My main reason for buying it was mainly that I love third person adventure games, especially horror ones and after being disappointed with Shadowman 2(glitchy mess as it is)I thought this was a good substitute.
The controls are very good and the camera is excellent, unlike Shadowman where the camera went almost vertical time and again leaving me to play it like Gauntlet or having to use the sniper rifle's scope every five seconds to see what ... Read More:

i love flying games and being British, i love leaving reality and strapping into a spitfire and showing the germans how its done, after all thats what video games are for? they let you live your dreams. unfortunately this one doesnt. i was so hoping that this would be that desperately needed brilliant flying game for the xbox, but its not. it looks okey...ish and theres a nice selection of planes, theres even some very decent missions here. but its all let down by the flight physics, basically its for kids, you push the stick left and the plane turns left? that isnt how planes fly at all! i didnt expect a flight sim by any means but this is ridiculous. i should add that there is an option hidden away to activate proper controls, but this is some how worse, theres no feel you ... Silent Hill has always been a cult faveorite in pretty much every gamers mind, in some way its always been pinned lovingly on a gamers thumb.
But the fourth game in the series is quite a diffrent fare.
The gameplay is superb for a SH game, with gritty, scary graphics, great controls and ugly flesh monsters all knocking the atmosphere up to 11, its scary, violent, and strangly sexy in places.
And while we're on the subject of atmosphere, SH4 has perfected it, in a way, you can see the developers said 'right, SH fan want scary and sick, and by god will we give them scaryand sick', it ranges from all sorts of gros matters that will strain on the stumoch like a tightner and will shred the nerves like a chainsaw.
Although, with everything so perfect theres some flaws. ... Read More:

I played this game for about 10 minutes and felt very ill, the camera oversteers on ever corner before swinging back to far and finally settling back where it started, I don't know why? But I find this bizarre.
