I kept my faith in the Mortal Kombat series, after being dissapointed by deadly alliance and deception (story mode). I was really impressed by the storyline and the new TWO PLAYER CO-OP MODE in this game. Its totally a game for people that want to kick-ass, and solve some nice riddles along the line as they progress through the game and unlock characters.
If you enjoyed old school games like streets of rage and battle axe, plus the good old MK series on the SNES or sega, you would love this game. it's a very good two player beat em up as well, and will keep your mates happy.

This game is crap! The controls are hugely over-sensitive (and you can't alter this) and the graphics are rotten too - at least 5 years out of date. Gameplay is the tired old FPS formula and you get instantly bored with endless running up and down stairs to press switches etc.

This one will end up on the shelf after the first 20 minutes. Dont bother with it - can't hold a candle to Halo etc.

I was so disappointed after having read the other reviews.

There is a real lack of atmosphere in this game. In the reviews it was compared to Halo! There IS NO such comparison to be made. The gameplay is very limited, the pace exceptionally slow, the graphics, and sound are lacking for an XBOX title and look more like early PC 3D titles (think Voodoo 2) certainly not up to usual glossy standards. In fact, glossy is a word that in no way applies to this game.

Missions are dull (imagine GoldenEye missions but without any real storyline/continuation or character/s)... again no atmosphere. If you do buy the game, you will feel nothing.

F1 Career Challenge

This is a very, very good game. The driving on this is like none other, going through the San marino chicane is amazing and twisting and turning through monte carlo is the best challenge ever on a racing game. The choice and variation of cars is also superb with cars from four seasons with every f1 team. You really get the feel of f1 which is amazing. The selection of views is also very good from standard driving view to actual f1 view with steering wheel and mirrors in front is brilliant. I could go on about the brilliance of driving an f1 car around every track but as with any other EA game it could be better than it is and you just feel they don't put any effort at all into their game design.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan

I am a big Star wars fan and although this isn't up to the level of the KOTOR games or star wars books, it still provided me with hours of fun. When i first got the original xbox way back when that first came out this and halo were my two favourite games on the xbox platform although neither games are in my top 5 games of all time (on all platforms) this game is still a game i like to play every now and then. If you can spare a few hours get this game.

If I were to choose one word to describe this game it would have to be FUN! Honestly this is the third most fun game I have played( the first two being the Serious Sam games). The incredible amount of satisfaction you get out of getting a head shot with a pistol whilst doing a slow motion dive through the air is stunning. I would stongly recommend this game to anyone. It's even better than GTA!!!

Psi-opps is a great game, which really brings something new to the genre. The mind powers are really fun and it opens up a whole new dimension of the game. What I think was the best part to this game was all the different ways you good complete tasks, like the Hitman series. For instance, go around sneakily and knock everyone out, using silenced pistols to take out cameras, or go in guns galore or use your psycic powers and not lift a finger. It has a compelling storyline with well developed characters and a simple yet solid plot. It has a lot of extra levels, and being able to play as bosses allows you to use stronger powers, but after playing it through on elite, spending some time playing as the bosses and completing all the extra missions, you realise how short the game is, letting ... This game is brilliant had it for a while now used to play it all the time with friends but now i have finished it all i tend to play other games i still give it the odd hour or 2 a week. I wish this game was more known as it is brilliant and i hope there is another Deathrow game being planned as i would like something new like this.
I would Highly recomend that you give this game a go!! well worth the money
