Futurama (Xbox)

I re-bought this game recently and sadly i'd obviously remembered it as being better than it actually is.

Oh i don't want to be harsh - i love Futurama and have all the DVD's (and film) but the graphics in this game are well...pants!. Leela's hair is pink in the game for some reason when it should be purple. On the whole the graphics arent very smooth and just look poor when compared to some of the Simpsons game graphics of the same era.

But credit must be given that the game does capture the essence of 'rama and the in-game jokes and references are funny. As a basic run around, collecting and shooting things type game then its average.

I must say i'm glad i have obtained it again but not sure it will be ... Read More:

I have tried so hard to like this game. I would say that stealth games are probably my favourite genre next to first person shooters and with a while to wait before the next (eagerly awaited) MGS game I thought that I should try the Slinter Cell series and OMG have I been disappointed. After going on the net and reading tons and tons of amazing reviews I am left a little confused. I can't believe how bad this game is and how many people seem to love it. There doesn't seem to be any skill involved in it, the control system is cluncky and in-accurate. The enemys seem to have super human abilities and can even see through walls (yes you read that right). There is a level where I closed myself in a room, no guard witnessed me enter but as he strolled ... Read More:

I waited for the release of this game because it was the first Matrix game, I brough it the first day it came out and when i played it and completed it in 3 days i found it to be disapointing, the action gets way to the same and the animation ant done that well also, the car chases are poorly done but the hacking system was fun. There are some good points about this game like you find out how they crash their ship and how some stuff happened in the movies ect but ovrall its a bad game i would recommend waiting for Path of Neo

I can only agree with previous reviews. I picked this up for £8 and wasn't expecting much, but it is now one of the only games I really look forward to playing. Brilliantly put together, imaginative ideas, nice graphics, cool powers and as i said, loads of fun! Far better than Psi-Ops. Buy it.

this game will be liked for kids 10-13 years old. it is a championship for quidditch. harry potter is the star but you can play with other players like gorge fred. the grafics are very good. you can see quidditch match but first you have got to win the teams.

Colin McRae Rally 3 (Xbox)

You've secured a three-year contract with the Ford Rallye Sport team to win the championship trophy. Race agains the clock through 64 stages in 8 countries including UK , Australia , Finland and Japan. Drive for the record against your friends in 'stages' mode. Pace notes researched, written and voiced by Colin McRae's co-driver Nicky Grist.

Graphically, CMR3 has no equal , the daddy of rally games has arrived. With brilliant handing , dynamic realtime damage and full enviromental physics. CMR3 is the best rally game made so far. It beats by far other contenders such as: 'Richard Burns Rally' which has bad handling and less gameplay. CMR3 has lots of gameplay set in loads of different countries with loads of cars to choose from.

I strongly advise ... Read More:

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (Xbox)

This was the first Tony Hawk game I got, but i had played some of the pro skaters. How could you cope not being able to get off the board, it must be impossible without? This game is amazing until you complete it, then the chaleenge goes, but it is still pretty good you can still do 2 player and create stuff (parks, skaters, tricks etc.) Focus is also very cool (dont kno if that was in thug1) especially when you r doing amazing combos it really helps. This is probably ridiculously easy if you have played the other games, but is just the right difficulty for me, and it is really cool how much better u get (if u watch the demos by leaving it on the menu they seem impossible, but now although im obviously not that good, but quite close). The best levels r the new ones in story ... Read More:

I bought this for the youngster but paid under a tenner when it was on offer on Amazon earlier this year and it is OK I suppose.

It isn't the best but it isn't the worst - it's simple enough and worth buying but only if it's cheap.

Conflict: Global Storm (Xbox)

from: Eidos

September 30, 2005
This was the first 'Conflict' game I bought/played and got it for the princely sum of £2.38,I liked the demo but sadly that didn't show the holes up that protracted play can.
The game is identical to the first three except that the (overly)generous auto-aim has been scaled down/removed,the commands are virtually the same albeit shuffled round the pad a bit,the graphics on the other hand are markedly improved with good crisp textures and solid looking scenery.
There is some overuse of the 'night vision' though, having to play through green levels is a bit annoying and the thermal vision is all but useless save for a couple of instances.
The A.I is competent for the most part although enemies will regularly run past you to 'hot-spots',team A.I is good although a few ocassions ... Read More:

OK! it maybe anime but it is certainly one of the best games i have played! i just finished completing it and its great. The bosses are easily killed with the right weapon, and the strange and dangerous creatures add effect and keep you on your feet.It may be repetative but its still a good game all the way through.
