It's the game that football fans wait all year for, and it doesn't dissapoint. It really immerses you in the game, to make you feel as if you really are out on the pitch.
Perhaps the only problem for seasoned players of fifa is that the only way to unlock the top level of difficulty is to win every game in a season of Manager Mode, which I myself sometimes just can't be bothered to do!
But you've probably got a lot more staying power than me.
All in all this is definitely a great game, beaten only in quality by fifa 08.

I've had forza motorsport for about a year now, and i havent raced a single race and left wanting for from the experience. its truly fantastic

the graphics are amazing, much better than project gotham 2 (which was out at the time) and GT4 (the main competitor)

i think the only problem is the exaggerated tyre noise. its way too loud, but that can be sorted by a simple SFX change in the menu. a brilliant game!

I got this game after a pal recommended it to me, i THOUGHT it was going to be great. As soon as i had struggled past the dodgey menus i was greeted by poor screen-clips, blocky graphics and jerky controls (halo-style except 3rd person and a lightsaber... turns out terribley). but then again, i only bought it recently and it was bound to be dated by then. It was not totaly awful so i think 2 stars is about fair.

An instant classic, A real journey, Genuine, Pure, Beauty. Gaming dosent get much better than this, Fable: The Lost Chapters proves that British manufactures can keep the standards sky high, higher then most Japanese and American Brands. Multiple weapons, clothing/armour, items, environments... Some of the most mesmerizing environments you'll see on xbox or gaming in general, Hauntingly lush forests, tranquil gardens, heavenly demon door rooms, and a dead on weather system to stun and impress, making the areas somewhat more believable. A pick-up-and-play control system allows anyone familiar with the controller or keyboard to become imersed in the game instead of trying to work out what to do and how to do it. The only downside is as you probably know from every other ... Read More:

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (Xbox)

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance for the Xbox console was, in fact, the very first Metal Gear game I'd ever bought a few years ago, along with a few others on a Saturday in a bargain bin in a certain games shop. I'd never really been into the game series before, and it's probably safe to say, as any long-term Metal Gear fan will testify, that owing to the complicated story it is the worst game of the series to start on.

But anyway, on with my main gripe. Despite being, overall, a very good game, it is NOT an Xbox console game and I do believe it suffers from this. It's the Xbox controller; it's a hunking great big piece of plastic that allows me to feel like a man when hammering buttons on Halo, and it isn't the same as the subtler DualShock 2. The repositioning of ... Read More:

You probably know what sort of game this is by now,I just wanted to mention something, firstly,I like the graphics, they feel solid and the lighting and weather effects are well done, yes it get's repetitive but that's the whole nature of the game. It's like complaining that all you do in Forza is drive cars!!,Also yes it is easy, the AI of your side is mostly excellent and I can't recall any moments of exceptional stupidity, unlike Rising Sun where a comrade threw a grenade in a tunnel whilst I was next to some 'exploding' barrels-GENIUS!!
No I only have two small gripes, and bear with me I haven't played the second one yet,I find the Droidekka(Destroyer Droids) a bit unbalanced,a pain to kill and yet seemingly fragile when you use them and some of the maps are too small for fast ... Read More:

After playing many FPS games that had a "Blow up everything in your way" gameplay it was nice to get my hands on a little more of a tactical game. Rainbow Six 3 breaks away from mindless shooting and adds alot more thought to the FPS genre.

The game puts you in control of a squad of 3 men who act as covering fire aswell as other back up and support. This adds to the games diversity and you feel a real sense of leadership as you command your troops. Also the game is alot more realistic to other FPS games, in RS3 if you take a couple bullets you die and if you happen to live you dont have any method of regaining your health as there are no health packs. This is one of the elements that makes the game so tactical, the minute you come under fire you become so cautious and become ... Read More:

I am a heavy gamer and a tennis player, so every time a tennis game is made i feel i have to try it. To be honest apart from Smash Court i have found them all very arcade-game like and no realism to the physics and feel to the game.
Top Spin was a pleasant surprise.

The graphics are not amazing but to be honest they dont need to be, how fluffy can a yellow ball be?? You start your career as a nobody, no skills, rubbish clothes etc. Your ambition is to become world number one.. After you create your custom character you start on the circuit. You have to train your character in areas you choose (serve, volley, forehand, backhand etc) and get to choose how good each part of your games gets. This ultimately affects how you play as a player with weak volleys can barely hit the ball ... Read More:

I have tried so hard to like this game. I would say that stealth games are probably my favourite genre next to first person shooters and with a while to wait before the next (eagerly awaited) MGS game I thought that I should try the Slinter Cell series and OMG have I been disappointed. After going on the net and reading tons and tons of amazing reviews I am left a little confused. I can't believe how bad this game is and how many people seem to love it. There doesn't seem to be any skill involved in it, the control system is cluncky and in-accurate. The enemys seem to have super human abilities and can even see through walls (yes you read that right). There is a level where I closed myself in a room, no guard witnessed me enter but as he strolled past outside he somehow managed to see me hidden behind ... Read More:
