Anyone who's seen Steven Spielberg's 'Band Of Brothers' or 'Saving Private Ryan' will know exactly the brutal reality faced by soldiers in World War II. And a fair whack of those people who have watched either will want to witness it from another perspective, from behind a controller. Which is where 'Brothers In Arms' comes in. Having been described by many as the ultimate World War II FPS squad-based shooter, it easily achieves in its aim of putting you in the hands of a realistic squad and throwing you in at the deep end. There's just one snag - to be honest, we've seen it before.
'Brothers In Arms' does everything its set out to do; with damningly intelligent AI, you, as the leader of your squad, have to navigate through some ... Read More:

As with the oddworld games, this game is very well executed in artwork and gameplay. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it and got quite addicted to the point where 7 hours of a Saturday was spent in continuous gaming!
I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fun game which requires some strategy and quick thinking - the characters are great and the stranger himself, a take on Clint Eastwood, is fantastic.

To be clear - there is no point putting the Morrowind disk into your Xbox unless you are prepared to put in a considerable amount of time. It really is like going on a holiday somewhere: spend a couple of hours, and of course you haven't even scratched the surface (you've barely left the airport!) but spend day after day walking about, and you'll see more and more.
It comes with a map. A proper map. You need to use it. And then after a while you squint at it and notice lots of little squiggles and blobs. Every single one is a whole dungeon to explore. And those are just the initial ones to get you started. If you want to, that is; there are a thousand other things you could do first.
No, it's not that pretty, not by 2008 ... Read More:

Well I didn't have a N64 so I can only comment on the XboX game. I thought the game was really fun, completely different from anything I had played before.
The story line is great. Basicaly the king (a panther) needs a prop for his stool which has one broken leg. For this task he focuses his effort on capturing Conker (you, the squirrel) as he is the perfect height for the stool; that way he can place his glass of milk on the stool without spilling it. As you can see it is a crazy story line but with some great humour.
There are loads of games within the game which you have to solve in order to progress. It takes a bit of thinking about and I must admit, I had to read a walk through to get past some of the scenes because it was ... Read More:

Buyers should be aware that this version is rather more gruesome than its predecessors. Scenes of blood splattered walls may not be to the taste of those wishing for a plain fun shoot-'em-up!

After the shocking dissapointment that was TC streets of LA i was pleased to learn that luxoflux had taken a more serious approach to TCNY. All credit to them, they did a great job. A fully breathing city which responds and changes to your actions, good storyline and gameplay, however some of the random bugs are just annoying.
For a start, if your a fan of the genre, then dont go expecting a polish on par with perhaps the GTA series. Although the game looks great on the whole, it is prone to sudden and aggravating flaws. for example, sometimes while driving, the HUD and all other on screen items will vanish, leaving you blind, as well as the road often has a freak out with textures in this time. Also, there is common loss of sound effects which requires ... Read More:

This game has completley lost the magic, the beauty, the originality and the dark and creepy atmosphere of the previous two oddworld inhabitants games that encompasse you totally. Munch's Oddysee is pretty but is just like dozens of other collect items and run games. I ploughed through it hoping to regain the enjoyment and involvement of the the other two games - to no avail. It has lost such a lot being converted into a 3D game, there was no need, it was already perfect. Such a shame.
This Street Fighter package contains three things of niceness. Street Fighter Anniversary, a game that has been doing the rounds at the arcades, Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike a game that hasn't been on a home console aside from Segas Dreamcast and the Street Fighter 2 animated movie.
The Anniversary game is the first five Street Fighter 2 games combined. The character you select can be primitive or as advanced as you like. Early versions of characters have less, and different, moves but to compensate there hits take off more energy. The one player game can feel a little weird as a result, as you can beat your opponent while knowing that you're not fighting as well as you should. The sound is pathetic, the graphics a bit garish but this is still ... Read More:

Potentially a very good driving game, however the physics are sometimes frankly bizzare and the ai is practically non existant, I'd even go as far as to say it has a.s. (artificial stupidity).
Go and but Gran Tourismo instead!
This game is just superb. i could finish the review right there and hope that people would just go out and experience all the small things that make the game wonderful for themselves. when i first bought this game i knew i was in for a treat as rockstars GTA series hardly ever puts a foot wrong. the fact you can customise your character by buying different clothes, trying out different haircuts, eating and working out just shows a very small bit of the variety of this game.
There are many a missions for you to have a go at and the difficulty is just about right. i finished the game a little while ago and can still go back and play it for hours. one of the best improvements since vice city is the much bigger variety of bikes, cars, planes and boats. the car modifications are also great ...
