I agree with the above reviewer. Just like some of the other POP games there are several areas that force you to replay certain portions many times over. The part that you get kicked back to usually involves moving through 10 minutes of fairly easy maneuvers - sometimes long drawn out cut sequences as well, which you CANNOT TURN OFF. This usually does not happen until you have invested a a fair amount of time in the game. The pattern is as described above; things are going fairly well, a few puzzles, challenging fights, save points along the way - Challenging yet rewarding. When i bought this game, i wasn't expecting much, but i was pleasantly surprised.Although the game can grow a little monotonous if you play it too much, when playing with friends it is great fun. You can play with up to 3 other people and whether your playing with young gamers or adults, the game can be very entertaining.
However the game is rather short and could do with a few more levels. It's a very easy and laid-back game that can be completed in a couple of hours.
Definately not for someone who wants a challenge but it's worth having just to muck around on with mates.

This game has dated graphics, and there isn't much freedom. It may be fast but that isn't a good thing as it is basaically the game controlling itself, you would be better off watching a film. Storyline? There is'nt one! And all levels are as boring and frustrating as hell, don't waste money on this, it is'nt worth it.

Anyone who knows me knows that i love racing games..

The first i heard of this game was when Juiced 2 was advertised on tv.
The rating wasn't brilliant so i thought i'd give the original a go first..

The graphics are pretty good but the soundtrack wasn't to my taste, apart
from a few tracks..

The gameplay is really addictive, especially as you get to race members
of your crew. Its a shame you dont get to ditch some crew members or
change their names..

The betting is an interesting option, although listening to the opponent
drone on is a bit tedious and slightly grates on the nerves..

The tuning isn't long winded and lets you get the best from your [shed]
car..

Oddworld : Munch's Oddysee

This game has completley lost the magic,the beauty, the originality and the dark and creepy atmosphere of the previous two oddworld inhabitants games that encompasse you totally. Munch's Oddysee is pretty but is just like dozens of other collect items and run games. I ploughed through it hoping to regain the enjoyment and involvement of the the other two games - to no avail. It has lost such a lot being converted into a 3D game, there was no need, it was already perfect. Such a shame.

Max Payne 2 has everything Max Payne 1 had, but it seems watered down a lot. The controls are perfect and have been improved, but all other aspects of the game are a disappointment.

The storyline really sucks. Unnecessarily complicated and yet predictable at the same time. It's totally unengaging, the compelling urge of mysteries to be unraveled from Max Payne 1 is completely gone.

The gameplay is not as bad, but still worse than Max Payne 1. A lot of the time, especially in later levels, you'll be suddenly overrun by enemies and your only resort will be to load a saved game and to anticipate the ambush. This seems to be calculated in, which i find a sign of lazy design. The most blatant of these is a level where a building is on fire and barrels are exploding ... Read More:

As with the oddworld games, this game is very well executed in artwork and gameplay. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it and got quite addicted to the point where 7 hours of a Saturday was spent in continuous gaming!

I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fun game which requires some strategy and quick thinking - the characters are great and the stranger himself, a take on Clint Eastwood, is fantastic.
