I had a bit of a interest in this game because of it's looks and the achievements, and then my brother found the game for just a juicy £5 online at Amazon, so I asked him to buy it and I'd paid the money. It's just recently I managed to play it and get it done with and to be honest, it is fairly good.
The King Kong game is based on Peter Jackson's King Kong Movie. The King Kong Game was released on the launch day when the XBox 360 came out back in late 2005 and I have seen quite a few people on my friend's list, which actually own this game.
The story of King Kong is when Carl looses business in his filming career and decided to think of a final solution. The solution was to get his filming crew arranged, plan and ... Read More:

This is such a fun game, i am 23 and haven't enjoyed a movie/cartoon tie-in since the lion king on Sega Megadrive.
You get to play and most of the main characters, have 4 different costumes for Po and the most fun part is the flying, boating and all other separate action pieces.
The voice work is brilliant, very funny and unique.
The only gripes i have so far is that it appears that you can't select previous levels to reply unless you save the level in one of the save slots or play the game over.
You only have three available slots to use.
Having Downloadable content option would be great for new costumes and moves for the other characters.

As shootem ups go I suppose this is not too bad however it displays the usual american lack of knowledge about anything more than 10 years old. The previous review said the planes were accurate. I could the second scenario is the attack on Taranto by Navy Carrier planes - the Swordfish was not a dive bomber, if the game was at all accurate you would have found the wings in the sea next top the bodies of the crew. I totally lost interest when the mission involved shooting parachutes out of the air, and then attacking an armour plated zeplin aircraft carrier over the pyramids. There was never an armour plated Zeplin, the were never used in WW2 combat, they were never over the pyramids. Game play poor, egos very big - you will watch our graphics bits, ... Read More:

There was a boxing series that came out many years ago on the Playstation and Dreamcast that featured a plethora of zany characters, it even featured Michael Jackson as a boxer, it was called Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, not only was it hilarious, imaginative and great fun, it also was a phenomenal boxing game.
Now that EA don't have the license to use pro boxers names anymore, they can no longer make any Fight Night/Knockout Kings games, which are now consigned to boxing game history, they have come up with this bright idea, kind of similar to Ready 2 Rumble boxing, fictional crazy boxing characters with over the top boxing fun, the only trouble is; the gameplay is absolutely terrible.
I am having a hard time believing EA have lost their ... Read More:

This game is abysmal. I bought it because at the time (this was before Halo 3) I was looking for a multiplayer (single console) first person shooter and this seemed to be the only option...
The multiplayer is shoddy, there is no fun to it... or skill for that matter, it becomes obvious within the first seconds of turning this game on that the developers at Rare that produced Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64 are long gone, both the previous games were and still are fun and great to play... This however is not, its boring, uninvolving and frankly a bit of a mess, it looks and feels like a beta version before a games tester has come anywhere near it, if I had tested this game I would have beeged and pleaded Rare not to release this.

I firstly downloaded the demo of this game off my xbox 360. I played one round and i was hooked, it was so fun. I didnt know why, it just brouhg a smile to my face. I then rented it, (like the person below this review) just to be sure. I played another round, the novelty was fading. Fast. I finished the round and played another. I didnt even play that round for 10 minutes.
You move too fast, the Strogg are far better than the GDF, the games are too complicated, its saying heres an objective thats GOT to be completed by this guy and it's all a bit .. meh really. If you want a game similar to this, but FAR better, try Battlefield 2142. ETQW didnt impress me, im glad i didnt buy it, but i must make a note. The pc version is so much better. My brother purchased it for something ... Read More:
