Please ONLY buy this console if you have no intention of usingf xbox live, as you will very quickly need the premium version. Not having a harddrive has many drawbacks if you want to use the machine as anything but a machine to use games that buy buy on disks on. If you plan to buy games and movies online, chat, downlaod themes, movies and previews and the like, I woudl reccomend getitng the premium, or if you're a hardcore gamer like me, save up and get an elite, it really is worth the money.

I love the design of the 360 controller, its chunky but not too big, and its not at all heavy. Its comfortable to hold for long periods too.
Some reviews have comnplained about the vibration not working on that many games, but that is entirley dependant on the game not the controller, so this cant be blamed on the controller.
Another review I have read complains the analogue triggers don't work on GTA. Well if this review refers to San Andreas, since GTA4 is not on PC yet, that game does not have analogue accelerator.brake controls, it is digital, again not a fault of the controller.
Perhaps my main gripe with the pad is the oddly positioned left analogue stick. For me I would prefer the analogues to be adjacent to one another as I ... Read More:

I'll keep this review short and sweet!
Good points:
The combat system(endless variety of combos and moves)
Stunning graphics
The new recharging health bar
Massive variety of weapons to slice n dice with
Nice level locations
Only for the hardcore gamer!

Bad points
The camera view
frustrating enemies in the latter levels
Only for the hardcore gamer!

To sum the game up I'd say this
Ninja Gaiden 2:As brilliant as it is tough

How is it like an expansion? New graphics, new game modes, new weapons/armour/camouflage, NEW STORY!!?? It is an excellent game, perfect for the tactical gamer. Highly recommend this game!

There is no doubting the fact that this is one of the most stunning looking games ever, but it quite possibly has the most boring repetitive gameplay ever. I suppose it would be like having a beautiful, but highly boring boy/girlfriend, great to begin with but ultimately very unrewarding in the end. I probably completed 80% of this game but could just not summons up the effort to complete it, and believe me when it comes to finishing games I am totally anal.
If you can get your hands on a copy of it for £5 or less the buy otherwise rent or borrow. There are many more reviews on here that put the case far more eloquently than me and I advise reading them before purchase.

Easier than constantly charging and changing batteries.
Normal recharge batteries do not register a full charge in the dashboard.
This does and lasts longer. Wire not really a problem as it is very long
and is fairly quick to charge with a red/green light indicator system.

this game is brilliant. when i first got it i couldn't go on anything else, it became my drug and still is now. i get endless enjoyment using take downs on numerous enemies and using books, laptops and chairs to knock single enemies down. this game on the whole is brilliant and makes you feel like bourne which is the one thing i thought it wouldn't be able to do. the flash back idea works and provides different styles of missions throughout the game. a deffinate buy!

Great looks, great functionality and quite robust. As a controller thrower, this thing has been airborne many a time and the only damage is a slightly loose left stick which still works perfectly.
The only criticisms I have are a rubbish D-Pad and if you like to have a finger on all shoulder buttons you may find it difficult to hold.
The right stick position is also a little strange but it becomes second nature quickly.
A good size for small and big hands I think this is one of the best controllers made.
And everything looks better in black!
