This is a real example of what a next-generation console can do. With the power of the 360, you get the racing and graphics hinted at in PS2 / Xbox games, but with a never-faltering framerate and of course more detailed visuals. The game's strongpoint is its physics engine; it is sublime. I've played some great PC sim racers, and this one on the 360 is right up there. It is incredibly realistic and satisfying to play. It's difficult (try turning off some or all of the assists) - but not annoyingly so. A 4WD Audi TT grips the tarmac as you'd imagine, whilst a 70's Porsche 911 is a delight to slide out the back end and regain control. This game is great it's basically a Final Fantasy only on 360, it's the best JRPG on the console it's story, graphics & characters are all awesome plus it lasts for about 40 hours, whats not to like? =))

HI all.

Now i was more in for buying The Orange Box (it will now be called TOB, because im lazy) on the computer, but due to already being brought to the brink of throwing my computer out of the window after useing 'steam' on it i decided to go for the safe option.

Firstly i could not belive what i got with the game, Half life 2, Half life 2 EP 1, EP2, TF2 AND Portal!! wow, amazing value for money (il be a wise trader yet!, 50 points to ANYONE who knows what game thats from, remember points make....errrrm prizes?)

anyway, half-life 2 is just as i rememberd playing it on *shudders* steam. Fun, Long and a great story-line, but the real issue is when i got to EP 1, it is short, boring and overly annoying.

This game is brilliant until you get to the "very hard" level.
Its frustrating when you can win easily every time on hard, but have absolutely no chance on very hard. The game is pretty much over for me now because there is no longer any challenge, and i do not have enough time to go through the career mode. So, until you can beat everyone on the hard setting, this game is great.

First got the game at Christmas, and now, even after 7 months of playing it, you still find new places on the map that you have never seen before. Its tricky at first but soon it gets easy. Its so fun to just roll around the city, and If you skateboard (like myself) normally, it allows you to be a super good on a board when you cant do half of it!!


BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

...charges incredibly slowly, around 5-6hrs if you're playing at the same time but holds charge for a lot longer than I expected. The wire is handy if like me you've another wireless controller but haven't got round to equipping it with a battery pack as it will work as a standard controller. I haven't tested this out yet but I'm assuming the charging wire also means you could connect a wireless controller to a PC via USB for use as a PC gaming pad. Definitely a good purchase.

the only thing i can give credit on this game is the graphics, they ent the best bt they are good, the game play is poor compared to all the other need for speed games, it seam s as they tried to make a racing game and not an arcade racing game which is what i class all the other need for speed games.

ther is no free roam no random encounters available in this so were is all the fun parts of racing around the streets evading the police.

my rating of the game 15/100 i realy dont like it and think ea need to re think about what they are doing with the games

I am an absolute geek for this game, Oblivion is one of the very few games of the last few years that truly deserves to be described as a masterpiece. More than two years on, this is still my favourite game on 360. Mass Effect didn't come close and Fable 2 seriously has it's work cut out if it wants to match this! (IMO the only game that MAY outdo this is Fallout 3)

If you still haven't played this game, I feel sorry for you missing out on it. But I also envy you because you get to discover the unbelievable size and freedom this game has to offer, at £19.99! Oblivion was worth every penny at the full price, but 20 quid is such good value that it shouldn't be legal!
