1. The graphics and sound are on the whole stunning, as good as any game out there at the moment, and I must mention one particular map, the town in the Market Garden level, truly awe inspiring. The huge amount of detail that went into that map is absolutely astonishing!
2. The controls are perfect, natural to use and smooth. This is the only game I've played where you can dip and duck up and down, left and right, peak over and around walls and object by just swivelling the stick. It's easily as good as the cover systems used in such games as Gears of War, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six Vegas.
3. Parachuting is a nice way to get into a level and feel more natural than just spawning somewhere.

I can't wait for this game, and I know it is going to be amazing.

But, it doesn't come out on October 3rd, like it says here. It actually comes out on October 31st in the UK, so can Amazon please change this. If this is done I will delete this review.

I have been a great fan of this game for the PC from the beginning. I was concerned when I found out that it was coming out for the 360 coz i thought that they might destroy it!

First impressions weren't great to be honest. I loved how in the old games there were loads options to customize the game, so you could really play what you wanted. I loved setting the AI as less aggressive and having long political games, but in this game there are no options really.

Then I played the game. Loved the graphics. All the characters looked great and the cities looked pretty awesome. When you get to the game play it must be said that this is a watered down version of the PC game, but that's whats good about it. If I want an intensive ... Read More:

I don't very often laugh out loud at games but it was hard not to with this one! i'm not a huge Star Wars fan to be honest but was lent this game to try. It's very very clever! the characters are so funny! i don't know what it is about Lego people but they make me laugh. I felt i played it more just to see what certain characters would look like!. To be honest i personally didn't think the game play was that great, its pretty standard running around, whacking things with your light saber but it has playability based on the concept alone!.

Just when you think racing games can't get any better along comes grid. This is simply the best racing game ever, the flashback feature is ingenious (If you drive into a wall at speed you total your car. Instead of bouncing off as in other less good racing games, but your race isn't other you get up to 4 flashbacks per race a chance to rewind the action 4 or 5 second and try again.) With varying game difficulties, all driving options drift, open wheel, touring cars, muscle cars, demolition derby (great on Xbox live) and the le mans 24 hour where you drive through a sunrise and sunset this game has it all. Bored? got a few spare weeks\months to kill? then buy this game. It's great but its HUGE! especially if you are the sort of person who likes to do all the side quests and collect all the rare items etc. I loved it but did find that when i didnt play for a while - i tried to pick it back up where i started from and forgotten what i was doing. On the whole it is a cracking game! Lots of varied quests and places to go. Sometimes i found my graphics would glitch but its a small price to pay for some lovely detailed backgrounds and characters. It has the same format as most adventure games so its easy to pick up and go with it!. There are so many options like which guilds to join, are you 'good' or 'bad', do you follow the main quest or do all the little ones?....oh the list goes on!

Ok this game isn`t for people who just like shoot`em ups, there is a great story here and you do have to do a lot of talking to people. Graphically this game is fantastic and is like a movie at times especially on a 42" plasma. I haven`t suffered that much with the game freezing and slow down. The story in this game is that good that i really think someone could either make a film from it or even a series preferably a series. If you have the patience then you will enjoy it.

O.K shooting mechanics,boring graphics,it lacks any unique stlye and no online achievements. Fast paced but ultimately nothing here that's superior to Gears of War. One more thing, where is the motion blur?

i feel that if you keep doing the game mode over and over again then it becomes repetitive and if you try and do some of the achievements by yourself on campaign, its not gonna happen is it? cause its nearly impossible on the campaign on insane by yourself.

i like the fact you have bots if someone isnt playing on either instant action or online then you can still enjoy a game no matter what and i think that it relates to timesplitters in that aspect because theres individual characters that you can choose from and that you unlock if you do certain things and you can have bots which are usually crap but u hav them anyway and timesplitters will be similar online when it comes out soon

I owned this game sometime ago, and i have to say it was one of the finest single player games i've played in a longtime. The cover system works a charm and if you haven't played it buy it now before G.O.W 2 comes out.

By the way, little cheeky here but head to Blockbuster have just seen they're selling it for 9.99 brand new... can't believe the pre-owned version haven't come down in price yet...
