What can make a game is atmosphere. It can have cool guns and suave moves but atmosphere is something that is under-appreciated. The Hitman games, especially Hitman 2, is drenched in atmosphere. It's settings wherein you play the levels are simply amazing.
Hitman 2 revolves around a clone who works in the profession of "cleaning" but, after the bloodbath of the original game, Hitman: Codename 47, our hero, 47, is now religious and lives alone in a church with a priest in Sicily. Wanting to lure him from his lair to show off his skills, a Russian crime lord hires a group of Sicilians to kidnap the priest. This takes you into the first level of the game, "Anathema", a powerful opening level as you stalk around the mansion of the Mafia ... Read More:

I bought this game thinking that it would be as good as rising sun but this game is sooo unrealistic for example I have a sniper rifle, I headshot a badguy I think ok he's dead annoyingly he stands up !!! The people look like paper, the only detailed part of the game is the weapons.

When i played this game i was surprised to find that i enjoyed it a lot more than the other installments. I liked the graphics and animations and the characters are wonderfully portrayed. Certainly a lot more story orientated than the other LOTR games, which are basically all fighting with film clips to help carry them along. There's plenty of dialogue in this game, some of it quite amusing! I just think this game has a lot more variety. Some of the puzzles can be frustrating if you're not an experienced gamer like myself, but it draws you in. Dodging the ring wraiths near the beginning is surprisingly quite edgy stuff.

I was so disappointed after having read the other reviews.
There is a real lack of atmosphere in this game. In the reviews it was compared to Halo! There IS NO such comparison to be made. The gameplay is very limited, the pace exceptionally slow, the graphics, and sound are lacking for an XBOX title and look more like early PC 3D titles (think Voodoo 2) certainly not up to usual glossy standards. In fact, glossy is a word that in no way applies to this game.
Missions are dull (imagine GoldenEye missions but without any real storyline/continuation or character/s)... again no atmosphere. If you do buy the game, you will feel nothing.
Additionally the controls take a lot of patience, promise a lot of interaction and actually deliver very little. Read More:

I have tried so hard to like this game. I would say that stealth games are probably my favourite genre next to first person shooters and with a while to wait before the next (eagerly awaited) MGS game I thought that I should try the Slinter Cell series and OMG have I been disappointed. After going on the net and reading tons and tons of amazing reviews I am left a little confused. I can't believe how bad this game is and how many people seem to love it. There doesn't seem to be any skill involved in it, the control system is cluncky and in-accurate. The enemys seem to have super human abilities and can even see through walls (yes you read that right). There is a level where I closed myself in a room, no guard witnessed me enter but as he strolled past outside he somehow managed to ... Read More:

The graphics leave a lot to be desired. The story is thin and of poor quality, I never got any feel for any of the characters. All the annoying features of the early first person shooter games were present (like you can't go between two crates even tough you can clearly see you will fit neatly between them). There is little interaction with the environment. Movement of the character is limited.
Personally, I don't think the storyboard way of telling the story works. Also, in some of the more difficult parts of the game, there were annoying clips of animation you had to watch every time.
Other than that, the game works. One star added for the price, two lost to age I guess.

Is the above all we have to emphasize about the game -- two-player game mechanic? It's not the be and end all as there's much more on offer here, though there are some fine and fun-filled moments with Crash using hapless Evil Scientist Dr. Cortex as a snowboard, etc. as they pool their resources with niece Nina Cortex to take on the Evil Twins.
Good-looking graphics, catchy music in a style of its own, low level of frustration although the saves could have been more frequent when testing new ground. Great variety between sets that get more imaginative and entertaining as the game progresses. Much humour delivered in a fun storyline, occasionally a little beyond the average five- or six-year-old but without detracting from the experience. I would expect children of that age to require ...
