If you want a cheap, reliable set of DVD-Rs, and don't mind the fact that they don't have individual cases, then look no further. With this set you get 25 disks for, at the moment, 5 quid. Unlike disks from other manufacturers, these do not become corrupted halfway through the burning process, or fail on 97%. They are compatible with any burner, and play without problems. Each disk is almost 5Gb, meaning about 6 hours of film, or thousands of your best pictures can be stored. The recording process is quick, and the final product is exactly as you want it to be. such a great price and quality is excellent .. these dvd+rws used to be so expensive .. and this pack you can get less than £10.00 is just great .. we are always using our camcorder .. plus you can play them on your pc ..

great dvd+rws .. make sure they are compatiple with your camcorder though and your dvd player ..

I've had this machine since end May and agree with most of the positive reviews. I'm pleased I was warned about the slow startup times otherwise I would have thought it was just my machine, it really does seem like an age from switching on, although I have noticed that my ordinary DVDs load up more quickly. I haven't updated the firmware, on the basis that 'if it aint broke, don't fix it', so will only do this if I find a Blu-ray disc that won't play.
One problem I did have was in registering with Sony for the free movies. The registration disc that came with the machine took me to their site, but kept rejecting my application, it took an age to be able to actually write a query to Sony support, and when they replied, they said the offer had ... No other complaints - they don't wirte at 52x on my writer, even though the packaging and the cd's themselves claim they are 52x discs. They seem to be 48x. Good price anyway.

These Verbatim DVDs are the only brand I will buy, they record on my Sony RDR-HXD910 (Also highly recommended) on time and every time, why look elsewhere when perfection has arrived?

Have burned over 300 of these now and they are the only brand that give a consistent performance as audio cdr's when played on audio equipment.

I've tried other more expensive brands but these have been very hit and miss for audio playback.

Never had a failed burn and I thoroughly recommend them.

These plastic wallets are not only useful for keeping CD's in but you can also keep DVD's in them! Great success!

Plus, you can achieve a frosted glass effect on normal windows at home by sellotaping them to the glass on the inside!

Truly a revolution in CD storage/frosted glass imitation.

value of this item is excelent even with postage 1/2 what i paid at jessops. service superb due to a senior moment my delivery address i sent was incorrect i changed this the next day and still received the item the following day. i now need a battery for my camcorder hope k.k electronics sell them

Just recently bought the Panasonic EZ47 DVD/VHS Combi recorder from Amazon and am archiving most of my VHS tapes to RAM Discs (supplied by K K Electronics - excellent fast service). Having viewed the discs after copying, the images are superb and the recorder/disc combination does definitely upgrade the image when viewed on a compatible 100Hz tv. The copying initiation with this recorder is simplicity itself and I shall definitely stick to these discs (no formatting etc) for all forms of recording/archiving in the future.
