....i purchased this widescreen monitor,partly because of the reviews i read already on this review page,and partly because i shop with Amazon quite regular and am very happy with their total service!!!......anyway as for this monitor;..... it is excellent value for money,as there are other makes/models available on other websites but are much dearer and only offer the same technical specifications!!.The picture quality is second to none(bear in mind that this model screen is a 'Matt'finish screen,which is ideal for me as NO light shadows or reflects onto it at all,and i use it in a very light open room!!..It's very easy to set up as a 'plug and play' monitor should be!(certainly with Windows XP,as it finds the drivers for it automatically!)Also ... .. well, i could. But i won't. I bought this to replace my well-loved 19" Hanns-G Widescreen, and i'm not disappointed.. This monitor is fantastic! Delivery was quick, but set-up was even quicker! I have a MacBook Pro and as soon as i plugged in the DVI cable - Bang - there it was. Perfect resolution, everything. Great. No dead pixels (i checked using pixel-check software).. Just a purely brilliant monitor.

Highly recommend it.

after many months of research and comparing i finally gave in and ordered this monitor on monday night and it arrived thursday monring so A1 to amazon for speedy delivery and i'm loving this screen its compact clear and for the price you wont find better it even set it self up my kind of equiment no fuss plug and play

Great next day delivery by Amazon. The TV's picture is great, the sound is good, I don't know why other people don't like the sound unless it is a fault in their product.

Good slots. Have everything plugged into my tv now, no switching around except for the two scarts.

Great tv, buy this if you are looking for a cheap but good build quality of LG. Good for bedroom and looks very smooth.

After many hours of decision making i decided on this neat little tv from Samsung. I would not go as far as saying that this tv is excellent but it is very good and provides good quality throughout. The only thing i would comment on is the build quality which is a bit in the light side. I have a Sony Bravia W2000 series and the difference is quite obvious. But then again the Bravia is a lot more expensive.
The courier Citylink were not up to much and i would go as far to say that they were a bunch of twats who would not compromise at all when it came to a rough delivery time. They even told me that they would hold it in the depot for me to collect myself. On my way there ( 1hrs drive) my gf called to say that they had delivered it a second time ... Read More:

I was running on a dell 19 inch widescreen,thought i'd upgrade and glad i did.
Its a great looking piece of kit did'nt have any assembly problems,very happy,bought from amazon.fr last week.

Sure it is big, stylish and produces pretty nice images ... but when I look at my screen with the blank screensaver (so a black screen) in the dark it feels like I am looking at a torchlicht. And that when the brightness is at 0... don't know if this qualifies for a return, but I guess I'll soon find out if the costumer service of Amazon.co.uk is up to par with Amazon.com...

I had been advised by a PC World Tech Guy that what I wanted to do was not possible. I wanted to share the video output from my PC with the existing TFT monitor and my LCD TV.

I bought this product and a 3m VGA lead from Belkin (both through Amazon). They arrived together a couple of days later. I turned off the PC and the TV, connected the VGA splitter to the PC VGA output, the 3m cable from the splitter to the TV and the existing VGA cable from the monitor to the VGA splitter. Turned on computer, monitor and PC and it all worked straight away. The results are fine with no flickering, shadows or any bad effects at all.

Hope this helps others who have been advised that it is not possible.

The HP w2007V is a fantastic flat screen monitor. I had it out of the box, assembled and working inside 10 minutes. The monitor was plug and play with my PC and the HP display setting software is very helpful indeed, ensuring that you get the contrast, brightness etc just right.

The 2Watt speakers are simply not powerful enough in my opinion, however these were not why I bought the display.

As others have commented, the colours are truly vibrant - be under no illusion, this is a first class product.

Got one today. FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC. Can,t believe the quality at this price, and it looks REAL QUALITY. Was thinking of getting a similar priced ACER, thank god I went for this one instead. The images are fantastic, the pictures are chrystal clear, also impressed with the quality of the built in speakers, not horrible and tinny, as with many others. Overall i'm feeling pretty chuffed with this amazing bit of kit, and would highly recomend to anyone in the market for a high quality monitor at a reasonable price
