Tut tut, I didn't get it from Amazon (they didn't have any at the time). That said, this little thing is brilliant. Easy to use BUT - if you (need or) wear glasses make sure you're wearing them before putting it in your (in my case Nokia 6301) phone. If it springs out you'll be lucky to find it! This technology is mind-boggling. So much capacity in such a tiny card, and this isn't anywhere near the largest GB storage available on one of these. My phone can only handle 2GB, or so I'm told, otherwise I'd have gone for even more storage. It's so cheap it's mad NOT to.

I was hesitatant in going Blu-Ray. I have used DVD recordable since its early days. I went through the buying cheap and nasty DVD recordables phase, and paying the price for that, in terms of discs I could not read only a few weeks after burning them. I then switched to using branded DVDs - which I have been doing for 5 years or more with very few problems.
The problem is that - as it gets ever easier to create digital data by the truckload (in my case by making lots of digital off-air TV and radio recordings) the once mighty 4.7Gbytes capacity offered by DVD Recordable now seems pretty inadequate. Even the 8.6GB dual layer DVD discs - which are actually pretty good now if you buy branded ones - don't really solve the problem any ... Read More:

Having used these cd's for audio almost exclusively (have also used maxell with great success) i have only ever found a small proportion of them get "glitches" which is normally if being used for burning at high speed. When they get warm/ hot in the cd player this can then bring out the fault, which brings up digital noise similar sounding to a scratched record! Keep to low speed burning & they should be fine for music & data burning.

Have done probably around 1000 burns using these and the number of failed ones (that weren't ID-TEN-T errors) I could count on the fingers of one hand.....great quality, long lasting and extremely rarely fail.....so much better than other brands I could mention.

Verbatim have made an excellent set of markers here which glide effortlessly on the surface of CDs, DVDs and flash media, and come in blue, red, black and green.
The pens don't have sharp nibs, it's like a felt tip pen, and writes beautifully on disks - making sure it's not scratching the surface.
Highly recomended for writable media.
Excellent quality, and they don't smell like toxic!
