At the price of £5, save about £25 off high street prices. About 80% saving. Not bad.
Simply and quickly installs on your PC. Works like a charm initially (see bottom).
I use this with my mobile phones - Nokia 6630 and Nokia 6680 - and my handsfree earpiece. Capable to linking to a variety of Bluetooth devices.
Wirelessly transfer files to and from your mobile. Use your handsfree on your PC as a headset. Beautiful.
That said, haven't worked out how to manage / synchronise my Outlook with my phones. Pretty sure that is not supported on my particular phones.
Also, if I'm going to be pedantic, the cover of the USB end is easily lost as it keeps falling off the holder on the other end of ... Read More:

I set it up with no problem, had it paired with both the laptop and the mobile and it worked a treat! Unfortunately this happy state of affairs lasted about 6 months of only intermittent usage before the headset disintegrated... The actual earpiece came away from the housing and a wire broke and here I am - looking for a replacement.
Incidentally, the same happened with a friend's Bluewalker headset, exactly the same part broke away.
Beautifully lightweight, excellent talk-time, just not physically up to the job...

for the past 3 months, i've been endlessly searching for a bluetooth stereo headset that could serve as a music system for my mobile phone as well as for my pc, and after SEVERAL trials, complaints and returns of allot of other bluetooth headsets, i think it's time for me to FINALLY stop the search, as i couldn't ask for any other device which produces such a SUPERB quality of sound. before i purchased this item, i made sure i reviewed it properly online, but sadly, there was a few complains about the call quality, this nealy put me off purchasing it, but you'll be glad to hear that i cant in any form experience that issue with mine!!. maybe becasue i've had it for only 6 hours now. the only thing i could raise an eyebrow to is the massive size of ... I bought this as a cheap replacement for my BT150. I was very pleased with the BT150 but had lost the earloop which I couldn't find a replacement for. Frustrating since the unit works fine.
The BT2040 was interesting because it is powered by an AAAA battery, meaning that as long as you have a stock of these (say in the car) then it should never let you down.
However I am very disappointed with it. You are supposed to be able to wear it in your ear without the ear loop. However there is no way it would fit in my ear. I have small ears and the earpiece is way to big to ever stay in without the ear loop.I'm not convinced it'd stay in even if i had larger ears.
The earloop is very cheap hard plastic and unmoldable,so ... Read More:
This is a good piece of kit, I have connected it without any problems to various Nokia phones (A2DP) and also sometimes use it for phone calls through my Mac Mini.
When used in stationary mode like in front of computer it's fine. But you can't lie down, and walking around with it is a bit awkward because you can't turn your head very much without it getting in the way.
However the really bad thing is the plastic bit of tubing on the left side has now broken, after only light use, and always kept in case in between use. The design means the tubes are twisted every time it is used, so I expect them to test the material used to be strong but flexible. Not.

Does not fully work with OSX. You need to get DBT 120! 122 Will be recognised by OSX but cannot work with head sets, remote controls or iSync. You get real basic functionality and occasionally going dead.
