iPod has certainly changed and improved my life, allowing me more listening time as well as providing opportunity to re-discover forgotten gems, thanks to Shuffle mode. The 160 is the best yet with excellent / better sound and more capacity. But of course one bummer is that there isn't really 160gb, there are about 147gb. Mine is already full and those extra 13gb would come in very handy. Even so, because I add about 100-300 songs per month, those 13gb and many future gbs are already booked up in advance. So, an urgent message to Steve Jobs: how about 300gb iPod for 2008? Please don't waste time with a 200 or 240. I urgently need a very big baby! Asap! Thanks very much.

I bought this MP3 player a week ago. I am really pleased with it. It is easy to use ( for me to say that it must be easy). The instructions are not very good but I found some good advice about its functions on the internet. I love the fact that you can bookmark and fast forward and rewind.

This really is a fantastic little MP3 player, having the older less functional 8gb NW-A1200 complete with dire sonicstage i really wanted a more modern, small, compact player and i am happy to say this 2gb player was everything i ever wanted...

+ Fantastic battery life, over 25hours, 3hours or so charge up time
+ No Sonicstage, just drag and drop, so simple and easy to use
+ Compact and slim line design, screen is bright and easy to see
+ Beefy and strong sound quality is better then most mp3 players
+ Easy to work menu, fast, efficent and easy to use, plenty of sound augments and ways to fiddle your music playback options

I already have an iPod mini, which I tend to stick on shuffle any way. I thought I'd buy one of these for running. Now it's been delivered I'm so impressed I'm going to get rid of the mini!

- Fairly easy to set up (one hiccup during syncing, but just did Autofill again)
- So light & tiny; you can clip it where ever you want
- Sound quality great with my Sennheiser headphones. Some reviews I've read mention a hissing sound, but I can't hear any thing like that
- Pleased with what I'm getting for the price
- Can't think of any cons

I needed a replacement for my old and low capacity Philips MP3 player. I chose the Sony as I've always been impressed with the quality of their gear. I have to say I've not been disappointed.

Sound quality is very good once you've junked the 'phones that come with it. I bought a pair of Sennheisers which improved the richness of sound and comfort. This combined with the equaliser feature on the player means I can tailor the sound to the type of music I'm listening too. The range of adjustment is really impressive.

Battery life has not been a problem. Normally I'm transferring a disc once a week which seems to keep the charge up. On a weeks holiday I still had 3/4 left at the end. I recommend the plug in charger offer to make life ... Read More:

There are a few negative reviews here, whether or not they are by people who have used this new Ipod or not does not matter. Those of you who have used one in the past will know the pros and cons, and this is probably Apple's best yet. I'm not a huge fan of thin styled phones, ipod's etc, and this is easily one of the smallest, but it looks good, and as most people think 'smaller is better', then they should be very pleased. The price is also nice and competetive, especially considering the video playback, and memory capacity. It is also simple to use, and easy to set up.

The new video playback feature works well even with a small screen, as the pixel level is high. So, everything you see will be clear as you could want it to be. You may need to convert ... Read More:

I recently purchased this product and found it good value for money. It's so easy to use, simply switch it on and connect to your PC via the USB cable and away you go, it is so easy to transfer music from your PC.the sound quality is okay as well.

After reading the conflicting reviews I decided to give it a go, hoping I would be among those who love it. I did love it, until it died exactly a week of me getting it.

It seems many people have had had the same problem. I can only say I'm thankful I can return it to Amazon rather than go through the hassle of the warranty.

I'm not even bothering with an exchange, I'm going for the full refund.
