I had some reservations about a film protector for my Iphone but wanted to protect the screen from scratches. I found this product superb, very easy to apply with a nice matt finish.
At this price is a bargain considering they sell a similar one at the Apple store for 19 quid.
My new phone does not have a cable connection to PC and I wanted the ability to download any photos I might take on the phone. I am new to Bluetooth but this dongle was easy to install and worked perfectly with the Nokia PC Suite - and so cheap.USB Bluetooth Dongle for Mobile phones, PDAs, PCs - Universal - Vista Compatible - Compliant with V2.0, V1.2 and V1.1 Bluetooth Fulfilled exclusively by accessory shop.

To paraphrase Monty Python, 'This is my theory, which is mine, my theory, yes it is, yes Chris". All technology goes through three phases. 1. When its new and simply cannot do much 2. when they put everything they can on it. In the case of Sat Nav this means MP3, personal updating, radio's, maps of outer Mongolia, the kitchen sink etc etc ad nauseaum. 3. When it is finally realised that we do not want and will never use all the bells and whistles unless we are very sad with a penchant for beep sounds and blue lights. This last it what this unit is. The Sat Nav and nothing else. What I wanted and what I paid for. Relatively cheap but seemingly well made it does what it should and no more. Easy enough to use, robust and clear instructions good ... Read More:

A great basic GPS unit, the main feature is the fact its so good at picking up satellites. This new H version is more sensative than the older model. Far better than my old Garmin Forerunner 101. I can even get a fix indoors.
High build quality, unit feels solid and chunky in the hand. An intuitive menu system, adding waypoints and routes is easy. The screen is clear and easy to read.
Do not expect to be able to upload maps etc. This GPS is a basic unit perfect for a location fix and using out hikes and monitoring distance traveled and average speed etc.
Battery life is excellent, 17 hours on good quality alkalines. I shall try lithiums and see what the difference is.
My partner spent a lot of time looking at the spec of this and other similar products before buying this one for me a year or so ago. I am an avid crossword solver and have found this to be the best route to cheating yet. I am also a primary teacher, and allow the children to use it when they are writing. They find it easy to use and regard it as a special treat! A colleague of mine became interested in buying one when I solved a dispute about the meaning of a word within seconds. She went out and bought the Sharp equivalent, which has proved to be not nearly as efficient and she regrets the decision.

i've recently bought a navman s50. i've found it to be reliable and very simple to use. i've not yet read the instruction manual and in all honesty there isn't much need for one. the sat nav itself calculated routes quickly and if you manage to take the wrong turn it redirects you with ease. the built in bluetooth handsfree set is great, no need to clutter your car with electronics. all in all a quality piece of kit for the price.

It gets you there - they all do that more or less. But this is Navmans Top of the Range model so I expected all the bells and whistles. What don't I like:-
As far as I can find, no GPS coordinate input option - WHAT!!!!???
Cannot pre-plan routes from anywhere except where you are now, and if you are in your house with no signal, no chance even to do that. I want to plan several routes on a multi-stage holiday before I go - you just can't do it.
Very hard to pre-plan detours you want to make - I like to use known or obvious short cuts - in France for example some C-roads are straight as a die, but all Nav's avoid them, costing you miles. Its very hard to make many of these changes before you get fed up bothering. ... Read More:

This bit of kit is brilliant, I need to be able to look down and get a grid for my current location instantly and this does that for me. Unfortunately I have now lost 2 units because the bloody pins that retain it to the strap are far too weak.
I'm buying a third but make sure you use duct tape or something!

I have now bought both 301 and 305 (I could not do without one whilst the first went back for repair!
301 - Cheaper, excellent display, indeed larger than the 305. Initialisation of satellites could take 2-3 minutes every day and sometimes gets lost for 30 seconds on a run under trees. Poor USB socket reliability - mine broke.
305 - in general it is more expensive, looks cool and has more functionality, eg racing against a previous run and fully alterable displays.
However, the 305 has a great PLUS POINT - the GPS initialisation is fantastic, 30 seconds in the house and doesn't loose it on a run.
The 305 has one BAD POINT - The display is not only smaller, the contrast (alterable) is poorer but the letter ... Read More:

This was my first sat-nav and I have absolutely no regrets about buying it. It's ridiculously easy to use, with a clear display and excellent voice instructions which are perfectly audible even in an open-topped car! It's also a convenient size for slipping into a jacket pocket when you leave the car for a even a few minutes.
With regard to the "problems" that have been mentioned elsewhere - there have been occasions when it's taken some time to get a signal, but those occasions have been very few and far between. On the subject of routing errors, I have yet to find a sat-nav that doesn't have them! Any sat-nav is an AID, not a substitute for a brain! If the sat-nav tells me that I'm driving across a field because it doesn't recognise a new road, I've ... Read More:
