Galt Sorting Wheel

My 18 month old loves this toy, she's had it from being about 10 months old and it still looks good even after all the hammering it gets! She can now do all the shapes in record time, and is still amused and happy every time she does it. It's nice to have a quality wooden toy to enjoy rather than all the modern plastic rubbish.

Classic Pop-Up Toy

i was enthusiastic about this toy based on the reviews, however I was disappointed when I received it. The pegs sit on a metal base to make them bounce and some of the metal seems to come off onto the bottom of the peg. That means i'm unhappy leaving the toy with my baby unless i'm watching as i don't want him to put the pegs in his mouth. That means that this toy isn't used as much as i'd hoped.

Crayola Beginnings 24 Jumbo Crayons

My little boy has had these since he was one and were now on our second set.He loves colouring and drawing so these are perfect.When they came i thought they would be longer but in fact they are just the right size for little hands.And he loves it even more now he can tell me the colours of them.

I started reading this with my son when he was about 2 months old. Now he's a bit over 3 months, and he's started to feel the pages & smile at the big orange cat. I'm going to order some more Baby Touch books!

Drum

A really melodic two tone sound on this well finished wooden drum depending where you drum. Shouldn't fray your nerves with endless bashing. Bought it for my 1 yr old but my 3 yr old enjoys it too. Drum stick end is rubber so may be a magnet for teething babies...

Not as light weight as some of the other plasticky drums are and only has one stick so you can't do drum rolls (!), but for rhythm beating it's excellent! Quite solid too but can be lifted fairly easily by toddlers. Would buy again no question!

Lamaze - Balancing Bug Stacker

Great fun. My son is 9 months and loves the bugs. We make towers we play with them individually and he loves banging them together in the car. They are brighly coloured and the legs and wings are tough rubber and my little boy also loves chewing them.

Bright Starts: Tubmarine Bath Toy

I like this toy, but I think I like it more than my 10 month old daughter. She dosent mind it, but you don't see it very much of it from under neath a layer of bubbles. I also though it would bigger, its only about 15 cm long. (But I didn't read specs prior to buying)

My 15 month old boy loves this book mainly because he loves opening flaps! We vary between this and the 'Where's Spot' book (where the flaps are easier to spot). He never seems to tire of them!
