I was fortunate enough to play this on the nes as my brother had one. I remember being with my sister and brother in the parlour late at night, being glued and trying to complete the game in one go. I also remember being annoyed when i had to keep blowing in the nes and game to make it work for 20 minutes at a time. Finally, there is a god and it had been brought out on GBA. I must have played this game at least 100 times when i was younger and just discovered it on gba. I loved the colours and graphics and the music of the nes and still remember it like i was playing it now. I can not wait to get this game (i paid £20 for it but hopefully it will be worth it, going by my old memories and reviews!) and hope it will come soon. Game recently ... Read More:

This game is not very fun. The levels are difficult and the character slips around a lot. I like to play against the bosses.
There is also the classic Mario game, which will trigger tears of nostalgia for 20-somethings, but is boring for me! Basically, the gameplay is this:
Go to level one. Play a boss. Go to level two. Play a boss.
And then this:
Whack the characters. Play again.
Wouldn't recommend.

By now the name 'Mario can only echo to the world mushrooms, evil turtles and 'flower power'. Oh yeah and of course, the greatest video game character of all time. Yoshi's Island is an excellent game, and the spirit of challenge and fun runs throughout from the start to the all-mighty finish! Oh, and considering the main character IS NOT MARIO but his trustworthy friend and pseudo-babysitter Yoshi; gamers can expect an experience that's just a little bit different.
The story has been given a little bit more thought than the previous Mario games: that is the 'rescue the princess/ defeat King Koopa' template. With Yoshi's Island we are introduced to a delightful fable - the evil Koopa wizard Kamek kidnaps one of two babies carried ... Read More:

I've always thought their are 2 types of Gameboy game; the travelling type, and the 'home' type. Luckily, Mario Kart Advance is perfectly suited for the gamer on the move with it's fast paced racing, excellent longtivity, and impressive graphics. It makes the most out of the GBA processor with lovely 3-D 32bit graphics, which suited me fine, as I remember the original SNES version of Mario Kart being very cartoony.
A must if you own a GBA, and even more essential if you're a short journey player, like me!

The third game in the formidable Legend of Zelda series, 'A Link to the Past' is an outstanding RPG (Role-Playing Game)/ Adventure created by Nintendo. Many would argue, it is one of the best RPGs for the 16-bit console generation. This is the first Zelda game for the SNES and remains a brilliantly crafted game, providing plenty of gameplay for all ages. Learn where Link once was to be found before Nintendo evolved the Zelda franchise with later masterpieces such as Ocarina of Time! Before I proceed further, I must state that its not necessary to have played the previous two zelda games, or know their stories, to enjoy this one. Zelda 3 works great as a standalone RPG on the SNES and can be picked up as a title in its own right.

This should be an essential game for your Gameboy, but more appreciated by those who played it during their childhood, like me. It poses some fantastic challenges and very cleverly worked enemy placements, so that when you go to jump somewhere, their will always be something in your way! Such little challenges appear in and out, but the real sense of achievement is at World 8-1, the last world.
For those who suggest you cannot save/continue, they obviously haven't been playing long enough to remember 2 old cheats :)
On the title screen, hold down 'B' and press Start. Bob's your Uncle, it magically starts off from the beginning of the last world you were in! (ie 4-1, 6-1)
If you don't want to use this, use the Warp Cheat ... Read More:

....is an exciting mario game, with good graphics and an interesting plot: you must play as Yoshi and try to find Mario, Lugi and the gang. It can become slightly tedious when you get stuck, yet it's generally a good game. I recomend it to good gamers aged 9+.
This game is one of the best GBA games I have ever played! There's just so much action it's hard to take in! The levals are not to easy and not to hard, just perfect! I recently played Crash on my Playstation and then when I found out that I could also play crash on my Gameboy, I was over the moon! I had previously thought that this version of crash wouldn't match up to the playstation version but I was so surprised! All I can really say is GO OUT AND BUY THIS GAME!!!
