Mario Kart: Double Dash! (GameCube)

The review by "Olsta" that seems first up when I log on, sums up the nature of this game.

Nintendo will eventually release the Wii version so you can steer with the Wiimote. In the meantime this version is a great way to enjoy a truly great game for all the family. As with all Gamecube games on disc you need the Gamecube controllers (Not the Wii Classic one) and a Gamecube memory card if you want to save progress and points. Memory is not necessary to play when the family just load it up for an hour of fun! I got a set of Gamecube wireless controllers to keep the wirefree environment (Madcatz ones), and invested in an original Gamecube memory card due to forums indicating problems with third party ones. 64MB Gamecube Memory Card

With an absurd 1019 blocks of memory space, this memory card is a must have for all gamecube gamers alike! Whether you're playing Fifa (with its insane memory chomping space) to games such as Splinter Cell (usually taking up 50 blocks), you have nothing to worry about!

I laughed myself silly upon the thought of a memory card for Gamecube being able to hold so much information, but its fantastic! This is a MUST buy for your gamecube console! Its just as important as the controller/game's itself! (To an extent that is...)

I sold my old useless 8MB for a 64MB memory card and i was rewarded with no memory card errors, no hassle, no swapping memory cards because i ran out of space. This memory card will last you forever, ... Read More:

GameCube Controller Black

im always careful when buying unofficial controllers, as they never have the same build quality as the official ones. i used to have a white gameware gamecube controller (from GAME) which the sticks just stopped working on after a year (with very little use). so i ordered this controller as a cheap replacement.

i must say that when it arrived the build quality was much better than i had expected. it is a really great shape and fits in to your hand better than anyother gamecube controller ive tried in the past and it has rubber grips on the hand grips and the control sticks (i always found that the C-Stick always seemed to slip under your finger, but non with this one).

GameCube Console - Black

The GCN is a awesome console...in groups! Nintendo have always been AND always will be party game based company. As they're are games such as Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Monkey Ball, F Zero GX, Soulcalibur 2(yes I know multi format but controls best on Gamecube) and Wave Race; Blue Storm too name but a few and honest to god the best PS2 has to offer is they're try at GTA SA multiplayer which was fun for awhile oh and Soulcalibur 3 which is pretty good and Rockstar were probably smiling about they're take on the multi player on GTA SA well woopty frickin doo! Ok the antics of Mario saving Peach for the Umptenth is getting tedious but I think in the Mario games it's more about the journey that counts.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Players' Choice (GameCube)

I was at first, a little wary of this one, the cartoony graphics gave it a childish look, like it was meant mainly for young children, however, this grew on me, and although it takes a while, once you really get into it, its awesome!!! Think Ocarina of time, in the sense that it starts well but pretty slowly, takes a while to get into, and then its just awesome!

This controller allows you to play old GC games on your new Wii. Also useful for playing the new Mariokart Wii game with a more conventional game controller. Very comfortable design and good value from Logic3.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GameCube)

In 2001 Nintendo made a decision to move away from the normal 3 dimensional graphics and try out something new, known as cel shading. And it certainly paid off.

The graphics in Wind Waker are jaw-dropping. By rendering 2 dimensional sprites in a 3 dimensional world the game has an artistic, highly stylised, often cartoony feel about it. This, combined with the vivid colours and beautiful attention to detail means that the game is a pleasure to play from start to finish. Enemies explode into a cloud of smoke, the wind rushes into your sails, grass swishes and the sea swells. Although the graphics have changed dramatically from earlier releases, none of the atmosphere of the game has been lost.

This game IS what the gamecube is remembered for! and now it has the chance of a second lease of life from people playing in on the Wii. I have never come across a game like this before. The graphics are fantastic and i love the little touches with the Pikmin noises! although the noise they make as they drown or get burnt by fire is a little heartbreaking!. At times it can be frustrating as you realise you have navigated your way across a tough terrian to find one of the ships parts but havent got enough Pikmin to carry it back! *whoomph* thats the sound of throwing the controller on the floor!. You HAVE to try this game out. Its cute, clever and crazy! you will fall in love with the little Pikmins as they follow you round wide eyed and theres plenty of humour as you go along but also ... GameCube 251 Slot Memory Card (GameCube)

I used to own a few Nintendo Gamecube Memory Cards because there's just not enough memory on some Memory Cards to store the required data onto!
This was going on until I came across this Memory Card, which can store up to 251 Blocks of Data! I thought to myself this is just brilliant and what I need to store and keep all of my Nintendo Gamecube Data on!

My Grade For The Memory Card: 8/10: Enjoyable, Fair-Play, Thumbs Up

My Wish: Sometimes I do find that when I transfer data from one Gamecube Memory Card to another, the Gamecube may not allow me to move or copy data from one Memory Card to another!
