Super Swingball

We wanted a swingball to go in the ground as it would need to take a hard hit or two. It could do with a longer point to go in deeper but just needs checking before use. It's really good fun, if you're not too quick maybe a helmet and goggles for safety, get hit with the ball and it hurts. Will give an A but not A* as not perfect just close.

20Q Version 2

I was interested in buying this and saw one out for demonstration, so i thought i'd test it out before i bought it. Lucky i did! I thought of a racoon and began the game. It began promising, asking sensible questions, then went totally off the point. It never got it in 20 questions and only got it on the 25 question, which i felt was a bit of a cheat. I tried again with something simple, but this time, it never got it. I was glad when the words "you win" came up on the screen and it turned itself off, probably because it was embarrassed! At that point, i had to leave, which i felt glad to do, and was very glad i tried it before i bought it. Large Phlat Ball

the reviews are all true. This is an utter waster of money and time. It just doesn't work. It's one of the crappest things i've bought. The claims about the games you can play are nonsense. I find it very hard to believe the claim that this has been the fastest growing toy in Australia.

Retro Hopper (Single)

After reading a couple of bad reviews about this space hopper I almost didn't buy it but I decided the odds were in favour of it and to go with the reviews written by the people who were happy with it and I'm glad now I did. I bought two of these space hoppers for my grandchildren for Christmas so I thought it wiser to open them and test them now in case there were any problems. I can't see any problems at all with either of them and they look exactly as the picture shows them. I had no bother with the valve and the seams are perfectly ok and not leaking any air. Now its just a case of waiting for Christmas to watch how much fun I know my grandchildren are going to have on them :)

Super Stomp Rocket Kit

Junior Stomp Rocket Kit This is an excellent toy if you have lots of space. Even a four year old can get it a long way, and my dad even managed to get it over the roof of their bungalow (boys eh?). I'm definitely glad a bought this version and not the non-junior one which can apparently travel 4x the distance!!

It is possible to point the rocket launcher in any direction so that the rockets land in an area that suits you (but only if your children are feeling co-operative!)

The only down side is that it's easy to lose the rockets in trees and bushes as the children generally forget to watch where they land!! Fortunately you can buy packs of spare rockets and hopefully the two we've lost will become visible as the leaves ... Read More:

All Surface Swingball

The "all-surface" swingball has proved a great hit with our 5 year old, who'll play for hours, but is not up to adult use. Ours does not have the extra poles mentioned by a previous reviewer and is too low down even for me at 5' 4". Also it doesn't take much of a whack before it tips over even with the base filled to the brim with water. Ours does not have the pole coming out of the base - the whole thing goes. The ball attachment is not up to the standards of the 1980s one I remember as a child but we wish we'd gone for the stake in the ground type.

Moon Shoes - ASST

I bought these on an impulse for my trampoline-mad daughter and she was delighted with them. She thoroughly exhausted herself over the Christmas holidays and was able to use them indoors which is a massive bonus when the weather has been so appalling. We added as many elastics as we thought necessary to support her weight rather than add all of them and she was well away. These won't send you into orbit, but they certainly satisfy my daughter's urge to bounce. We have no complaints!

Ozbozz Pink Nebulus Scooter

This was a replacement for an expensive scooter. The footplate is very short and the whole thing is quite flimsy but It is very cheap. If there is any chance that yours couuld be lost/stolen then this is great.My 8 year old seemed to have as much fun as she did on the other scooter. If you don't have any scooter for any young child,get one, they are fantastic if you live anywhere with pavements.
