The headset was great for almost a month until the actual plastic part on the headset broke off, meaning the earpiece and microphone were left. So I had to bring in my own way of holding the headset up by strapping a hairband around my face to hold the microphone up. The design overall was flimsy and can be broken very easily. It stopped working tonight.

I've purchased the 60GB XBOX 360 today, mainly because of the exclusive games like DOA4 and HALO3 that aren't available for my PS3.
Since long ago I've been waiting to finally purchase this console and now that the RROD issue is fixed I've thought this was the right time. Actually not everything is OK, since the new controller was a major let down! This controller is a piece of cheap plastic and the d-pad is totally unreliable. The original XBOX controller S was way better than this one. There is also the huge noise that comes out of the box when a disc is inserted, and believe me when I say that it can cause a headache.
The quality of the product is very bad! Overall, regarding hardware quality, I think that the PS3 ... Read More:

If you CAN put your Xbox360 near to your wireless router and run a cable then you SHOULD.
Wireless is NEVER faster than a cable.
However, if like me, this is not possible then you must have a bridge. After all, why have an Xbox360 if you are not going to play online?
It is very, very easy to set up and install as long as you have the information that you need about logging into your router.
My own wireless bridge took literally 5 minutes to install.
My work colleague asked me to do his for him and it took over 2 hrs, mainly because his router had a security setting on it which meant that you had to manually type in the 'code' of the machine trying to access the router.

don't get me wrong xbox live is essential and great fun. But ea games do not work if you are under 18.Yet the biggest problem is its £40.00. Playstation 3 online services (playstation network) is free and so is wii. wii is inferior to xbox in online play but ps3 is the same quality online yet free. So why do 360 owners have to pay? A COMPLETE RIP OFF!

I usually buy either a scart or component cable fairly soon after buying a new console as the often bundled composite/euro connector affair is usually rubbish, the component for the original xbox was excellent although on most games the picture wasn't a great deal better than scart, the PS2 however was mostly good, especially for the progressive scan games, but some were awful,WRC,Timesplitters 3 etc seem to have a 'pattern' on them and Broken Sword:TSD was overly sharp, this however is great,I recently bought Perfect Dark Zero and on the euro connector the reds are blurry as is most of the 'boxes/borders',problem solved.good quality cable as well.

The sole purpose of me buying these Memory Unit's is one word, "Backup". I always backup my saved data because if my consoles die or go out with a bang, I always have something small around me which has the backup data, and it helps me get back into business rather than starting from scratch!
This Memory Unit is for the XBox 360 Console, it's 64MB and it can store any type of data you acquire for backup. Because of it's size though, you are quite limited to what you want to backup as certain retail games have saved data from about 1MB or even more. BioShock alone requires 15MB per saved game. The Orange Box is another game, which requires big data space, 10MB per saved game!
Because of this reason I use the unit for games which are finished ... Read More:

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a decent controller for my computer which would be durable (unlike my old one) and had 2 analogue sticks and 2 analogue triggers (very useful for driving games like need for speed). The only other one I found with 2 analogue triggers was one by Logitech but it was much more expensive.
Being actually designed for use with a console by the first party producer of the console you know it cannot be a bad product and, as it's Microsoft, you know it will work without any problems with your PC. If on Vista you do not even need to download the drivers, just connect the controller to a USB port and it will auto-install itself.
I prefer the wired version because:
1) it's cheaper
2) I don't have ... Read More:

Well i myself have an 360 and i just adore it, with its large number of games on the market and excellent array of online features, this is truly a gamers console. Im not a fanboy slating the other consoles as i do own a wii aswell and i love that machine too.
This entry level xbox is the cheapest availible as it doesnt contain a hard drive, but you do get 256mb pak for your save data and is basically all you need if your not a download fanatic, like for casual gamers who only own a few titles will get plenty of mileage out of the small memory pak.
However if your more of a hardcore gamer i suggest you look into the next level xbox with the 60gb hard drive, as Halo 3 players for instance will need a hard drive for download expansions.

I have both chargers and this one uses power through the Xbox and doesnt seem to charge as good as the MAINS/DUAL quick charge kit, prices are very similar too, just passing on my info so you dont make the same mistakes!
This thing right here is a pice of S*IT it keeps the disk cool but it make your 360 feel like it been baking in the oven for about 5 - 10 mins and it is as loud as a mother trucker and it caused the red lights thing and i truckes up your console
