Well Im Actually an RPG fan but I bought this game to see what it was like. I have played previous MGS's and enjoyed them very much, I thought it might not be as good as them but I was so wrong, I have not completed this game yet but already I think it is seriously the best game on ps3 yet. The gameplay is fast and exciting Im glued to my TV, the cut-scenes go very well with the game and the effects are outstanding and so detailed, the cut-scenes are long but brilliant why would you not want to watch them? It has references from earlier games that help the story along like flashbacks and old characters are in this game. The boss battles are also really exciting just like the older MGS's. Sony Blu-Ray Disc Remote Control (PS3)

Terriffic item for winning over non-gamers to your purchase of the PS3. Far less fiddly than using the sixaxis, far more intuitive too.
It may not work "straight out of the box", but the pairing process takes only a few seconds, and you only do it once!
It may not control the TV volume, but most of us watch BluRay films in 5:1, so I need my cinema amp control anyway - no biggie, particularly if you are grown-up enough to get the volume right within 10 mins of starting the film.
Best of all, unlike the sisaxis, it isn't switched on & off itself, it just works when you need it, every time.

Buy it, love it.

Burnout Paradise takes all the best elements of the previous Burnout titles and makes one of the best free roaming, car crashing racers availiable today!

You compete in any event of your choice by pulling up to any set of traffic lights and peeling out to begin a race. There are several racing types which are great fun but can get a little tiresome after a while in single player. Online is definately the best way to enjoy Paradise City whether with friends or total strangers!

The game is daunting to begin with, especially with all the possible routes to take. But once you get the hang of the city, it becomes a whole new experience and one you'll find tricky to put down.

I bought the game for its LAN Play capabilities, i.e. play between multiple PS3 machines on a local network, specifically for playing in a location with no Internet connetion.

It turns out that you must have an Internet Connection and log in, in order to set up and play a local game.

Dear all,

Just a quick review... Recently, I finished playing Dirt, Career Mode.
After 6 months, I managed to win all the tracks in the hardest difficulty of all, "Pro" Level.

And let me tell you that this was one of the best games I played in my life. When you play it in PRO, not only you learn to avoid crashes (because the car wrecks), but most important: to know each and every track, in full detail.

And what a pleasure this is, for driving game fans, like me.
Each personal best is automatically published on-line, so, it's quite rewarding, with some luck and skills, to see times in the top 100, say, among 40.000 people.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (PS3)

R6V2 is a game for people who dont want to run and shoot through a game. It is different from the excellent COD4 or Battlefield, in a way that older gamers would appreciate. The co op mode and the online gameplay are the best I have experienced. With other games you dont have to think much and your fate depends most of the time in how lucky you are. If you are careful enough you can finish an online co op session with no injury and this gives the game an authentic war-battle feel. Buy it and enjoy a well balanced game.

Unfortunately it is impossible to give this a zero rating therefore it receives a one star rating. This is not for the quality of the machine but for the following:

It was originally advertised as being backwardly compatible but Sony have changed the PS3 so it is no longer compatible with PS2 games. Well done Sony.

Amazon please change your product description to clearly point out that PS3 in not compatible with PS2 games.

Maybe advertising standards should be made aware of this deception by Sony

DualShock 3 PS3 controller (PS3)

If your moving from the PS2 to the PS3 youll notice one big change to the controller, the lack of a cable connecting it to the playstation which is fantastic it cant get tangled or disjodged from the control.

Apart from that the controls only been changed in a minor way, the R2 and L2 sholder triggers are now not encased in plastic sheild which makes them alot easier to use, the control feels alot more responsive especially with the Sixaxis function. The case is more durable and the buttons themselves are alot easier to depress.

The battery life of the control is also fantastic i think i charge mine up at about once a month and im a hardocre user! It cant get much better to be honest ive not had a problem with the control or the charging system.

Lego: Indiana Jones (PS3)

I brought this game for my two boys who are both under 7 and they absolutely love it.

The game is obviously aimed at kids as the difficult level so far has been about right for my eldest. The levels are great fun as they can run around, collect coins, destroy things and occasionally solve the puzzles. With the free play option, all the chapters can be played over again and will enable your kids to search for the secret treasure, etc.

The graphics although not spectacular really do suit the game which I think does add to the feel. There are also little things that make my kids laugh, like Indy cowering when he goes near snakes. The one point I have against the game is that it only saves at the end of the chapter. But this is only minor as I can get through ... Read More:
