Juggling Balls
Someone told me that juggling keeps your grey matter working well and I found some old tennis balls at home to practice with but they're a bit too big so I bought these. They're far easier to juggle with although I still have some way to go before I'm proficient. A good present for all ages.
I bought a Rubik's cube from a seller on Amazon. I was disappointed to see it wasn't an original Rubik's Cube, but a cheap rip-off.
Despite this, the cube seemed to move nicely, there weren't stickers but coloured pieces of plastic, so the trouble of the stickers peeling off was non-existent.
However, after about a week of solving it again, again and again, one of the centre pieces fell out. It just... fell out.
So I proceeded to pop it back in again, which it did with a satisfying 'click'.
Later that day I realised the piece was started to become loose. It fell out again. On my second time of replacing it, it shattered.

This is a rather unusual book on juggling. First of all, it is layed out as an Encyclopedia, with all entries being alphabetical, and not in order of difficultly - so the easy tricks get mingled with the type that would make an octopus wince. This is quite a good idea though, as I found myself trying moves which would normaly nestle at the back of other juggling books. It's comprehensive as well, including a large amount of three to seven ball tricks, plus floor & bounce juggling. Moves are demonstrated with Charlie's own cartoon drawings, which are simple, clear and sometimes quite amusing. Difficult moves are often referenced to other simpler moves, and broken down into stages. It caters for beginners as well, with the basic 3-ball cascade. Read More:

I bought this for my 5 year old son who loved it, but it just wasn't well enough made. It broke very quickly and I wish I had spent my money on something more durable.

I bought a set of these for our 6 year old for his seventh birthday, and you know the story, the more expensive presents hardly got played with, but these cards I am not surprised that they are not dog eared (pardon the pun).
The cards are quite well made, not flimsy cheap card the printing and pictures excellent. Plus they are quite educational, which also helps, as afterall if the child is having fun playing, they sometimes don't realise just how much knowledge they have gained, but ask a simple question about one of the Dogs a few days later and you will be amazed at just what they have picked up.
They have been played with non-stop, I didn't play these with our daughter the first time they came out, and I have now seen what I have ... Read More:
