Tommee Tippee Portable Potty Blue

A total lifesaver. When little one has just been potty trained, he/she generally doesn't like big tiolets or doesn't like public toilets (who can blame them) so this is totally wonderful. Plonk them down anywhere (believe me I have) then throw the liners away so no mess, no smell, no accidents. Don't leave home without it!!!

Portable Potty (Potette)

I think, this potty is fantastic. I would not leave the house without it. It has been my saviour for potty training my little girl, she can use it in the car on long jounerys and i even used it on a train, you can easily tuck them in a corner and they can use it without anyone seeing what you are doing or them and theneasily tie up and throw away. I would reccomand it to every parent potty training on going to.

Potty Training In One Week

I made the mistake of buying this book. As with other Gina Ford books if your child doesn't conform to her regime you feel inadequate and disappointed. She advises on day one (after they have proved they can do wee and poos on potty) to confine toddler in one room all day and repeatedly put them on the potty!! No way! I think I lasted half an hour and I got cabin fever. I found "No-cry Potty Training Solution: Gentle Ways to Help Your Child Say Good-bye to Diapers" by Elizabeth Pantley far more helpful and reassuring. Gina Ford does make things seem so easy, but she isn't training her own child and the whole thing can get emotional. Simple Solution Toodle Loo - White

I searched for one of these when my daughter was about 3 years old having seen them in the States. Eventually found one at Boots website. I can honestly say it's the one gadget I more than got my money's worth from. She used it up until last year when she was almost 6! Granted she's a lighweight but it was brilliant. Easier for her and me, no hanging on to dirty seats when we were out and about, easy to clean and carry (fits in a normal size handbag). Only one small thing to watch out for is, when they get a bit heavier, be careful lifting them off that the hinge doesn't nip their legs. Buy one, don't think about it, just do it, now!!

Book not great. Words used like diapers. Picture of boy with potty on his head - not an idea I want to give my child. Picture with tiolet roll wrapped around child! Only a few pages!

Aliens Love Underpants!

I bought this purely based on the strong reviews here. Thought it would be an amusing book for my 3 year old niece. Unfortunately I can't agree with the positive ratings at all - there is no storyline and so little content, it was over before it really started! I agree the illustrations are quite cute so a small toddler might enjoy looking at the pictures but I think you would have to make up your own story to make it funny or interesting. Even the rhyming phrases are quite weak. I also bought another book called Room on the Broom which is so much better.

The Snail and the Whale

This is a fabulous story about being friends with and helping each other, no matter who or what you are! It stirs emotions when the whale gets into a pickle, but all turns out well ;) Everybody pitches in to help, and isn't that the way it should be. This book essentially teaches your child important values relating to real life, and is an absolute pleasure to read.

It's also about travel, with plenty of creatures and land/sea features to hold the interest of any fidgety child.

All wrapped up with delightful and colourful illustrations which are just packed with interest, not to mention the lovely rhyme in which the story is cleverly told.

Wetec Seat Protector - colour, Blue

I thought the idea of this was great but pratically - it didn't work! Of, course, we did use ours with a booster back seat not the type of seat their showing in the pic (our son falls asleep and then has accidents!) it ddnt move round but it didn't protect the seat either - the 'accident' leaked through!!! A towel would have worked just aswell and we'll go back to that I think!

Tommee Tippee Saddle Potty (Blue or Yellow)

I bought a standard cheap potty from mothercare for our son, but he always looked so uncomfortable sitting on it that I was concerned it would be hampering our potty traing efforts rather than helping. After searching on the net I found this Tommee Tippee potty and have just ordered our second one. We bought one a week or so ago and have ordered the second one for upstairs. Our son looks so much more comfy on it than the other thing we bought. Who'd have thought that there would be a difference? I'd have thought a potty is a potty surely, but it isn't! There you go!
