i understand what pixar and disney were trying to do - promote global issues in a way kids can understand however the ideas are very adult and i wouldnt recommend for kids.
BUT...........
this is a master piece for adults. it has humour, the love story, the real life threats and the general likability factor!! this is a special movie and the first of its kind!! a must see for adult disney fans as we can understand the impacts and the messages that are to advanced for a childrens film. in addition youll end up loving wall-e and wanting to take him home :)

Silverlit PicooZ Helicopter

I bought a twin pack of these helicopters for my son last Christmas. At first they were great fun, and actually rather challenging even for adults to control. However, if crashed at the "wrong" angle (and believe me - you WILL crash them) the small downward pointing section at the end of the tail breaks.
Both of my son's helicopters have broken tails and will no longer fly properly. The part is so small it can't be fixed even with super glue.
They are too light to fly outdoors (we got one stuck in the neighbours tree!) and you need a large space to fly them indoors. The range of Belkin Gold Series Hi-Speed 2.0 Device Cables are a must for every computer. Unbeatable performance. I bought mine some years ago (I think from PC World). Why doesn't Amazon stock it? (I much prefer to order items from Amazon - the service has always been excellent and at very competitive prices.

This is an awesome but not particularly durable helicopter. I bought mine today and it was very hard to get the hang of... it kept hitting walls. When I thought I'd cracked it after about an hour of flying, it veered into a curtain, smacked into the ground and one of the rotors partly snapped. There being no suitable spare parts, it is now totally out of control whenever I try to fly it. Having bought several Silverlit helicopters, all of which have broken in the first three days, I would not really recomend getting this unless you have a large flying area, are very experienced, have spare parts or enough money to buy another.

Just So Stories (Classic Literature with Classical Music)

I am a nine year old boy and my teacher got our class to read Just So Stories.
I think it was okay and can be hard to understand. The illustrations were different to other stories. It was funny at some parts and I enjoyed it.
But at some parts there was some dificult to understand the language.
I recommend this book to people who were around at the time it was written.

King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (Junior Classics)

My 7 year old son loves audio books and we have lots! He likes King Arthur tales but they can often be quite difficult to read and understand. However this is read brilliantly and we have both been gripped. Admittedly I have quite often had to pause it and explain parts but it is read in chapters which gives you convenient places to recap. We have listened travelling to and from school and for 3 nights we sat in the car on the drive listening to see what happens. This is a great next step if they are getting a little to old for 'Stories for 5/6/7 year olds" audio books. It really is great. Buy it!

War Horse

Hi I am only 10 but this is the best book i have read in 10 years.I love the story it can get sad at times and make you cry but it is very enjoyeble. This is a book for keeps a must read.if you like this book then you will also like Born to run.WAR HORSE IS THE BEST!!!!!!

I Had a Black Dog

I bought this when I began my second long term absence from work due to Depression. This time I decided to approach my illness with acceptance, and learn something about it, tell my friends and family, and perhaps educate them a bit.
I enjoyed the book, it can be read in a few minutes which makes it an ideal book to hand to people who don't understand Depression. I found my self almost laughing in agreement with some of the pictures.
My only complaint is I thought the last few pages almost trivialised the illness for me, thinking from my own experiences of a lifetime with Depression and the daily struggle. I also find it mildly patronsing, in almost the 'get a grip of yourself' way, for me I'd want nothing more than to be able to do that. Perhaps that's ... Read More:
