Logic3 Dance Mat for PSone and PS2 (PS/PS2)

Now I know dance mats will become unresponsive after time, but after 2 gos? I got it out this morning and had 2 dances. I left it out whilst I went out and came back to a house that stunk of the dance mat. It really does reek.

I played on it again and the buttons were already starting to go - it didn't matter if I used the ball, heel or all of my foot, or on the carpet or hard floor.

To give you an idea of how unresponsive it has become in the space of 12 hours, I went from being able to score 100k on Dance Fest to 20k. I certainly hope the replacement isn't as bad!

I had a dance mat back in the days of PSOnes and the games back then were SO much more user friendly than this!

For starters it does not tell you the speed of the songs, so you don't know what you're letting yourself in for when you select a song. Also there aren't that many songs to choose from compared to other games.

Little thought has been given to the display of the game. Instead of a more traditional display where the arrows go from bottom to top, the arrows on Dance Fest come out of the middle towards an outer circle. I find this makes it harder to work out the order of the forthcoming arrows and I often only see one of the arrows on double moves. Dancing Stage MegaMix (PS2)

I can remember hearing a lot of hype going around my school, mostly from girls about this game. At that time I didn't know anything about this and just thought it was another stupid girlie game. But then I went round my mates and his sister happened to have dancing stage: euro mix. I asked him about it and he said that he didn't know too much about it. So we plugged the mat to the ps2 and loaded in the game. I was INSTANTLY HOOKED!! The game was a masterpiece and about a couple of days after that I bought Dancing Stage: Megamix. The hype was on so when I first played it I can remember going on it for 5 hours without stopping, the game was brilliant. It needed no explanation. Dancing Stage Fusion (PS2)

Dancing stage fusion is made by konami which makes all of the dancing stage range and the ddr games. If youve never played them on ps2 before, they are in the style of the arcade dance games you find in bowling alleys, fairgrounds and such. i own 5 other dance games so i think i have a good basis for comparison(2 dancing stage, britney dance beat, pop idol and dance uk, and i have also played the bratz game)

Out of all of the dance games i think the dancing stage range is the most playable. The arrow style is one i am used to since i used to spend alot of time in arcades playing the games, and in my opinion it is the simplest.

Sony PlayStation 2 Console (Slimline)

I'm a true hardcore gamer, and this has a couple of great and unforgettable exclusive titles:
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2
Spyro: A Hero's Tail

Try and grab that lot if you want this console. And at such as a cheap price, missing out is unforgivable.

Dance Factory (PS2)

This is without a doubt an amazing game. I previously had played Dance UK, but as this game is now a few years old I found that the songs were out of date and boring. I also found that game difficult as the dance steps were shown coming from the middle of the screen and even on the easy mode, the diagonal steps were used.

By contrast Dance Factory is so much better. Even the five songs which came with the game were better than all the ones on my old game.

The dance steps are seen coming from the bottom of the screen and you make your moves when they hit the top.

Street Dance (PS2)

I recently bought this game and the dance mat together, being new to the 'dance experience' I thought I would buy this game because I like RnB/hip hop songs. I was extremely excited once I had bought it and couldn't wait for it to arrive in the post. Unfortunately, when I loaded it up on my PS2 I was very dissappointed by it. I only knew a few of the songs, it steps don't seem to go with the time of the music and I was bored with it after 15 minutes.

I think to do the dance mat justice you need up-tempo tunes, don't bother with this street dance game, go for something like Dance Factory

Official Sony PlayStation 2 Memory Card (PS2)

Ok so I HAVE had my PS2 memory card for a while now, but it has now started to act up.
A few months ago it lost all my Guitar Hero 3 data, so i had to do it again!! (not a huge problem as i love the game!) But seemed to work afterwards, thinking it was just a glitch i carried on using it but now it has failed again on GH3 and other games aswell.
I will be getting a replacement Sony card as they do last well and are better than other cards for the PS2 but be warned they can fail. (thats not to say they will though) :)

Dancing Stage Max (PS2)

I have been a DDR fan now for a good 6 or 7 years, I have followed the UK games such as Euromix and Euromix2.. and then on to megamix for the ps2 and all the others.
This game is by far the best one i have been on so far, the songs arent bad and you get a good mix fo the japanese songs and such. Only downside right now is the fact that i have lost the disk whilst moving, i have the box but no game.. so im GUTTED!

If you can get your hands on this game i will definatly recommend it. And now i hear of a new game coming out in feb next year... *w00p w00p* i really cant wait for that.

Dancing Stage Fever (PS2)

I loved this game to begin with, but the dances seemed kind of samey. I didn't find the difficult levels difficult. More like standered with added jumps. There's a big selection of songs. I've had this game for about a year and a half. I've only just got slighty bored with the songs.

I'd recomend this game for beginners. It has good lessons.
All in all, this is a brilliant game. :D
