Pure Highway In-Car DAB Radio With FM Transmitter - Black

Must have had this DAB in car radio about a year now so I reckon I am in a good position to provide an objective review so here it is.
As other reviewers have pointed out the aerial is sub-standard, you are forever loosing signal strength (I tried re-tuning as instructed but has no effect)which is really frustrating.
Changing stations on the move is awkward especially if you store more than 4 stations.
The set up is relatively easy but you end up with intrusive wires trailing everywhere.
The arm that holds the radio to the windscreen is also poor quality constantly wobbling until mine actually broke off today!! (where the arm attaches to the sucker) obviously a weak point unless mine was faulty.

Does the job well, exactly what I needed. First one I ordered from KMS had an issue (not their fault), but they sent a new one immediately. So the product ticks the right boxes, and my experience with the vendor has been excellent. Hope this helps.

Kensington Universal FM Transmitter

Bought this after my CD player died. Disappointingly didn't fit in my car cigarette lighter socket so I didn't get to try it out. (Ford Fiesta 2001 in case that helps anyone else who may otherwise make the same mistake).

The plastic casing seemed a bit fragile though. Guess that is to be expected for around £20.

I bought this product from pc world and to date has broken 2 IPod nano's in the same way (yes you are thinking that I am a bit "special" to repeat this mistake again) but i would still advise against this product

4-IN ONE 12 VOLT DC SOCKET

I got it and used it for almost 2 weeks now and it works fine, it doesn't lose connection as I heard other splitters do. Has a 10A fuse so it should be good for any gadget. The main wire may be a bit thin for 10A - I only used it for ~4 Amps - but I assume they are all like that.

My husband and I recently went to France on holiday and my gadget-loving husband decided he wanted to make use of his ipod for music, rather than carting hundreds of cds to our gite!

So, my task, and I was going to be made to accept it - was to find an fm transmitter that could play his ipod music through the car stereo AND the radio/stereo in France! Lucky me!

Looked at a number of other options, when I came across some pretty positive reviews for the istuff autoscan. After a good few hours of further research, and the fact I found it on special offer, I bought this one.

Wasn't really sure how many stars to give this one- once I set it up, it was really good- signal was fine and the sound was good. it was great to be able to listen to my ipod in my car- plus the design (the fact that it is on a stick, type of thing!) meant it was in a good position to skip songs etc.
But then it kind of came apart!! I saw that another review commented on the rubber bit on the cigarette lighter part and how it made it more secure- this is true, but I think this bit of the design somehow made it unscrew as it was moved around around in the car (sometimes whoever was in my passenger seat pulled it over to them etc.) and as i pulled it out one day, one part came out and the other stayed stuck in the cigatette lighter socket!! Micro Fuzion Radar / Laser Detection System

So my unit is completely insensitive and unresponsive. It only warned me of cameras when I had already gone through them. Fortunately I wasn't actually speeding! Of course if you're only using it to detect accident black spots rather than your license then maybe it still has a use. But I hope this helps your purchasing decision. I'm charging mine back via the card company.
