LEGO Star Wars 7654 Droids Battle Pack

I found that my younger brother loved them, I brought six altogether and he was jumping with joy, he has even planed for them a battle with other star wars items.

There are ideal for people who want to build up their forces, since the CIS or separatist army need to have more units then the republic!

This is great to buy rather then buying larger sets to just get your hand on a droid or two- so it makes sence to buy quite a few of them.

The product info doesn't mention how very small the box is. Perhaps this toy will be a lot of fun for a lego / Star Wars fan ?? ... but it is going to seem a very tiny present when it is handed over at a party. Overpriced?

LEGO Star Wars 6211: Imperial Star Destroyer

My son enjoyed patiently building this model over 4 days at Christmas but found that every time he wanted to play with the model it fell apart as its base is not strong enough to support the model and the engines stick out below the base so they fall off every time it is put down. Finally after months of frustration we contacted Lego who supplied some extra bricks to try and stabilise the base (a known problem obviously) but that didn't work so we returned it. A great model for adults but simply not suitable for playing with - don't waste the money for kids.

LEGO Star Wars 7656 General Grievous Starfighter

Lego continue to celebrate Star Wars' 30th Anniversary with their first wave of new kits from the Saga with this great model of General Grievous' starfighter.
For collectors, this is the first chance to get a General Grievous figure since the General Grievous Chase set from 2005's Revenge Of The Sith line which sold out in record time!
The ship is great, with lots of small pieces on the hull to give some detailing. The front section slides forward to allow access to the cockpit and the rear stabiliser folds up and down for flight or landing.

LEGO Star Wars 7661: Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring

Lego continue their 30th anniversary releases with this fantastic Jedi Starfighter with detachable hyperdrive ring.
Based on the previous releases of Anakin Skywalker's Starfighter and the two from the Ultimate Space Battle set, the blue Jedi Starfighter has the same design with a few improvements built in. The cockpit assembly is sturdier than the previous issues and the hull has special adaptors to allow it to connect to the hyperdrive ring. Because of this, other Jedi Starfighters cannot dock with the ring which is a shame.
The ring itself measures a full 28cm across and has six engines and two missiles which can be launched with a flick of the finger. The ring itself is a little fiddly to assemble, relying on small Technic parts in the construction ... Read More:

Lego kick off their 2008 Star Wars series with a set from the Attack Of The Clones with kit #7670: Hailfire Droid and Spider Droid.
After the success of last years Clone Trooper and Battle Droid battle packs it's nice to see Lego continuing with new larger troop building box sets.
The set is an instant droid army and has 4 mini figures. There are two standard Battle Droids, like the ones from 2007's Trade Federation M.T.T., which have the arm with the upright grip and one Battle Droid Commander with a yellow body. Each one is armed with a blaster rifle. There is also a dark grey Super Battle Droid as well.

Like I said this lego set is brillent for people who like glactic war!
My brother loves this lego model, but one thing I MUST say is that you can get it £8 cheaper on the lego website, come on amazon.

LEGO Star Wars 7660: Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Vulture Droid

Lego continue their 30th anniversary releases with this fantastic updated version on the Naboo N-1 Starfighter and Vulture Droid.
Originally released in the 1999-2000 run, this kit gives two models which are far superior to their predecessors.
The N-1 measures a good 36cm long with decals to provide detailing over the correct scale body. There is a firing missile in the lower hull which is launched with a trigger mechanism. The missile launcher is the same type that's in the Slave 1 kit from last year.
There is a droid compartment for an astromech unit, R2-D2 comes with the kit, and the bottom of the compartment opens to allow egress.
There is a landing plaform with ladder for the N-1.

Lego continue their collection for Star Wars' 30th Anniversary with this great updated kit of the AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport)
Far superior to the original release back in 2001, this kit is the correct scale, is packed with features and has for the first time an AT-ST driver figure armed with a blastech E-11 rifle.
The AT-ST has this neat wheel on the back that allows you to move the head side to side via a gear mechanism in the body. The cockpit hatch opens and there is even room behind the driver for another figure. The left side of the head has a positionable cannon and the right has a positionable mortar. having had this on the ps2 i wasnt sure why i bought it but i am glad i did. its just fun throughout being able to be in star wars and unlocking characters & playing fo all the bonuses, something i was never into.

lego is the future of platform for me.
