This game is so close to perfect that you might be able to ignore its few tiny flaws (the gun cover system, graphics up-close) and call it perfect anyway! This is simply the most engaging, fun, beautiful and sublime game I have ever played! The main story alone can take between 30-40 hours to complete if you really invest in it. After that you can spend hours exploring the huge city. Not to mention the online multiplayer. Everyone simply has to play this game!!

Yes, Assassin's Creed is repetitive and lacks gameplay inspiration, but I wouldn't trade anything for the sheer graphical splendour of sitting atop one of those towers and pressing that 'synchronise' button. The sense of awe at imagining yourself in that time and place (ficticious it maybe) is really something. No game can transport you somewhere quite so vividly.
But yes, the gameplay is far from inspired, so - 3 stars.

I paid full price for this on pre-order as I was a huge fan of the first game, so a little annoyed at how low it is now :-( Been playing for some time now, and wow! It has all the great points of the first game, and seems to have ironed out a lot of the bad points like having to replay a whole mission with no checkpoints. Other improvements are autosave and much improved graphics and character customization. If you have never played the first, it's basically GTA with attitude! You return as your 'hero' from the first game, busting out of jail to find a world that has changed massively whilst you have been away. One small problem, it has frozen on me a couple of times, but not sure if that's my 360 or the game. 5 stars at this price!

I've completed this game three times, I still come back and play it. Compared to any gta ( 3, san andreas)the driving isn't very good (until you get 4 stars in skill), but it doesn't matter you will be making your way around the city via roof tops! It really is great fun! There's not much of a story, but you will be having too much fun to care, for the price it's unmissable!

Man do i love this game. To be able to weild dark evil powers is awesome enough, but the good storyline graphics, easy controls and many many achievements to do, really did impress me a lot.
Before i bought this game i didn't think i would be any better than a 3 star but how wrong was i. I don't regret buying this one bit.
I recommend this to any FPS/HORROR fans out there as yu won't be dissapointed.
Oh i forgot to mention the multiplayer as well. That's immensely fun and there are some achievements in multiplayer too!!!

Beautiful graphics, wonderfully atmospheric setting, but you can't avoid the fact that the gameplay is extremely weak. Once the novelty of the setting and the idea of genetic upgrades wear off, you're left with a game that although using the Unreal engine, doesn't really make very good use of it, and underneath all the decoration, is some fairl weak first-person-shooter combat.
Exploring is easy, just follow an on-screen arrow to where you need to go, you'll rarely be lost.
But combat is what keeps a first person shooter playable in the long term and here it's the worst aspect of the game - you know when a game gets combat right, such as Gears Of War or Half Life 2 - the weapons have the right feeling of weight to them as they fire, the enemies recoil ... Read More:

K&L is a pretty good game, it starts with you escaping from a prison van in a pretty good tutorial type level. Many people seemed to put this down to be another gta spin off when it was being produced, but is atually an arcadey linear 3rd person action game. Even so, its pretty gd, the storyline is pretty good, and my only issue is where you suddenly go from the streets of japan, to a civil war in cuba, which takes up the last two or three levels. its not amazing, but its a good timewaster, and you will get hooked on some levels and want to play them over and over again, for example the level where you bust everyone outta prison!! the grahics arent awesome, but the way that if you shoot someone, they wont necessarily die staright awy, but will lie wounded on the floor, until ... I spend most of my time playing on manager made, so i will talk about this, Fifa had a problem two years ago, in that all you had to do was send a half decent scout out to the likes of Africa and Europe and he would come back with a young player with attributes in the high 70's or low 80's, and yes this problem is back.
why waste your hard earned cash (will come onto this in a moment) on players from other clubs when you can create a team of super players by simply sending out your scout - very unrealistic, half the fun of FIFA 07 was that it was really hit and miss when you brought in a scouted player, you really had to put in the time and effort in the hope the pitch time you gave them resulted in them developing into great players - no longer the case.....also what ... This is truly an awesome game. I personally will never get tired of the storyline, partially because you can quite literally change it yourself. Not only do you get to make decisions such as what objectives you complete and which side to do them for (either NSA or JBA), there is so much stuff (I say 'stuff' because there are so many gadgets and weapons to name)at your disposal from wall mines to ultrasonic emitters and from Sub-machine gun (which a new addition of a cool laser scope) to the trusty old SCK pistol. I also like the new way of interacting with enemies. Now you get to choose what to do with them. You can either kill them on non-lethally take them out. Yet another good new addition is you can grab people from EVEN MORE places now, such as from behind walls, over railings and even ... Read More:

As a gamer who was almost addicted to Morrowind, i must say i was slightly disappointed. I bought this because it looked fantastic, its an elder scrolls game and its huge, but each of those reasons have their flaws. 1. Oblivion does look absolutely brilliant, with waterfalls, ruins, hillsides, caves, towns everything really. However, quite often you see a "unloaded" landscapes, where trees are yet to appear, with detail is missing ( a problem that Morrowind also suffered). 2. I'm glad that these games all have the "do what you want" option and Oblivion keeps that, with better stuff for you to do, or at least updated stuff from the past games like better customization and buying property. Although there are some tweaks that have changed the game on a large basis, the lock-pick system is something that ... Read More:
