Mario Kart (Wii)

As several people have already stated, this game is fun in a multi player race. If you play it by yourself you will get so angry you are liable to throw the wheel at your tv screen. The flying shells that blow you up right before the finish live, getting knocked off track from behind, actions like these get old really quickly, espeically when you are trying to unlock new courses. Overall, alot of fun to play with your partner or the kids, just don't play it alone!

Wii Wheel (Official)

A Wii wheel comes with MarioKart the game but MarioKart comes into its own when you are racing someone else.

With one wheel and 2 children it was arguments every time the game was played - an extra wheel was a must.

The wheel transforms the game and the official wheel feels the best and is worth a couple of extra pounds.

Lego: Indiana Jones (Wii)

We started playing at 8pm because there was nothing on tv (what a surprise) next thing we knew it was 1am!
Loads of fun, the lego angle is excellent- we love when you blow someone up and they break into lego bricks.
Excellent if you don't want your kids exposed to gratuitous blood and gore, but they want to play a great action game.
Once you've completed the levels in story play, you can go back, using other characters from the films and find other hidden areas and "treasures" not accessable to the basic characters- so the game isn't boring, you just keep going back as other people-or make your own person, choose a spade or a whip, and off you go...

Pro Evolution Soccer (Wii)

I won't rattle on about the controls because if you're reading this you've probably read another more in-depth review of Pro Wii-vo, but this is a real step forward for footballing sims. This is a really refreshing take on the beautiful game but Holy Macaroni - it requires SERIOUS concentration! Credit to the designers but this all-new realisation of off-the-ball movement and controlling more than one player at a time is enough to turn your brain into pate. It's so well implemented though that I can't help but forgive them.

Now, if only Konami would do something about the dismal sub-PS2 visuals, and animation that's so robotic it makes C3P0 look like a cheetah by comparison. Then we'd have a true champion and a real Wii killer-app.

Big Beach Sports (Wii)

I brought this game a couple of weeks ago because it was only £12 but when I finally got it I was so disappointed.I am not a serious gamer and yet I still found it really boring after 40 minutes and I was even playing with 2 other people. I would recommend people rent it before they buy so they can make there own minds up but for me I don't think I will be playing it again.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)

Any doubts about the Nintendo Wii being just for Kids gets blown away by this class of a game. I bought this from Morrisons when they were doing Wii chart games for £15 each, and I decided to get this after some begging to my wife who thought it would be too violent. The way the characters move, the pick ups, story line, the music and retro bits are just genius. The only downside I find is that I am unable to link up with anyone online to brawl with and sometimes I find that the characters are too small, thats why I have given it 4 stars, which is very disappointing after enjoying Mario Kart online (which I still play regularly). As far as I am concerned, forget serious fighting like Soul Calibur and racing games like Gran Tourismo, just buy SSBB and Mario ... Read More:

Winter Sports (Wii)

I was in two minds whether to buy this game seeing various mixed reviews on amazon. However being a keen sports fan and having played similair games such as torino 2006 on the PC i decided to go for it. And i haven't put the game down for an entire week and can see myself getting plenty of use from it its superb and i would endorse any reader to purchase this game.

Graphically its very nice, you have an opening ceremony, and if you can win a medal at an event then you have a podium ceremony and they play around 30 seconds of your countries national anthem which is a great touch. All crisp and clean and effects you'd expect to see if skiing such as spray and snow etc.... Sound wise there is commentry from two chaps who provide a quirky chat between events which ... Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii)

Rented it last week and completed it within days. Far too easy and repetitive. Loved it at the start but looking back, it really not the game I hoped for. I recommend renting it for a couple of days before spending your hard earned money on it!

Venom Light Blaster Gun (Wii)

Venom light blaster NOT .I was disappointed when they arrived as they were big ben interactive guns. i bought two of them from timestrobe and there was no mention they were NOT AVenom Light Blaster Gun (Wii) . It does however look the same as the venom but i cant be 100 % sure.It does seem to work well with ghost squad. I dont think its fair that its advertised as one thing and its not.

Cars (Wii)

(by Jiordan 12) My mum ordered this game for me and when i got it i was so exciting. I love this game and it never ends one of the best games. The reason i am deducting a star is because it is quite hard to steer and my 3 year old cousin struggles trying to go around a corner because iit is quite hard to steer. Other then that itis pretty easy, and you can do the full size experience (for teenagers, older children or adults) or the small cars one (for younger children). I reccommend this game to any one who was lookin to buy it.
