Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3)

First off I have to say I can not really find much to fault with the game. The graphics look great, the cars are realistic enough, the courses fine. Everything about the game is OK, it just lacks that spark, that special something that makes you want to keep returning to the game. If you like driving games you will like this but lets hope there are some better ones out there.

I haven't tried the online game yet, maybe I will later (or maybe I wont).

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)

First off, I am a fan of the series and generally favorable to anything Mr Hideo Kojima is involved with. Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4) is considered his 'greatest achievement yet', but the jury may still be out on that, as far as I'm concerned.

GAMEPLAY wise, MGS4 is a step ahead of its predecessors. The control system is slightly tweaked to take advantage of the PS3's functionality and it works like a charm. Whether DualShock 3 or the SIXAXIS, the game uses both the rumble function and motion sensing ability. The new 'free rotating' camera takes some getting used to, however, and can literally mean the difference between life and death during a fight, or sneaking part. Burnout Paradise (PS3)

Graphics in this game will completely blow your mind but play it for more than 10 hours and I assure you, you will get bored. I still believe that burnout 3 was the best burnout ever, I would not recommend that you buy this game. Buy something like Gran Turismo 5 or Race Grid.

Dear all,

Just a quick review... Recently, I finished playing Dirt, Career Mode.
After 6 months, I managed to win all the tracks in the hardest difficulty of all, "Pro" Level.

And let me tell you that this was one of the best games I played in my life. When you play it in PRO, not only you learn to avoid crashes (because the car wrecks), but most important: to know each and every track, in full detail.

And what a pleasure this is, for driving game fans, like me.
Each personal best is automatically published on-line, so, it's quite rewarding, with some luck and skills, to see times in the top 100, say, among 40.000 people.

Sony Blu-Ray Disc Remote Control (PS3)

Terriffic item for winning over non-gamers to your purchase of the PS3. Far less fiddly than using the sixaxis, far more intuitive too.
It may not work "straight out of the box", but the pairing process takes only a few seconds, and you only do it once!
It may not control the TV volume, but most of us watch BluRay films in 5:1, so I need my cinema amp control anyway - no biggie, particularly if you are grown-up enough to get the volume right within 10 mins of starting the film.
Best of all, unlike the sisaxis, it isn't switched on & off itself, it just works when you need it, every time.

Buy it, love it.

HDMI Cable (PS3)

This cable is great, it may not be the most expensive on the market and it may not have the designer name that some of the other cables have, but I have to be honest I really couldn't tell the difference! I know you see all the stats and the product description tells you how much better the 50 pound cable will be but to the naked I it will make such little difference its unbelievable. If you have a reasonable HDTV you shouldn't have any worry at all. If you don't which incidentally I dont (I have a 350 pound Hanspree 37") you probably wont notice the difference anyway. In my house we have my CHEAP TV with my CHEAP cable and my dad has a 2000 pound SONY with a very expensive cable. We played alongside each other a couple of times to see the difference in the quality. ... Read More:

Sony Playstation 3 Console (40GB Version)

Bought this expecting great things and to be honest was a little disappointed.

Its great for playing blu ray dvds, excellent gameplay and quality picture yet the reason I only give it three stars is the disappointing load up times and the lack of online gaming.

You stand for three hours in the pouring rain for that long awaited game at midnight, get home in the wee small hours and hey presto wait for an hour while the damn thing uploads and downloads. M mate meanwhile is an hour into his game on his xbox 360.

I have to wait for my mates to drop in for a multiplayer game, my mate plays it all the time on the xbox 360.

Had sony not won the war in the hd versus blue ray I know where I would have invested my money.

Formula One Championship Edition (PS3)

Not a fan of F1, and didnt think i would be of this game - simply bought as it was cheap and knew i could get my money back. However its a keeper! Really good fun, a challenge and geniunely addictive, i keep coming back for more.

DualShock 3 PS3 controller (PS3)

I do not own one of these and do not plan to order this either I have found a cheaper white one from a website (Better not post or amazon might not be happy) which i am going to get when i get a ps3 (This month) I am still going to say that it is worthwhile as the sixaxis is not inredibly much cheaper and is pretty inferior. Really should go for this DS3 or import a white one.

Call of Duty 4 (PS3)

We all know how important customer reviews are as its the customers who, at the end of the day, expect to recieve fully finished quality products and for once (sorry sony) there is finally a game I am certainly not willing to sell - ever! This game is just simply stunning. Im sure most of you who have a PS3 and have several friends on your list will all be displaying 'Playing Call of Duty 4'. It's hard to imagine just how good this game is so im going to try a new method of approach.
