Product Description: Take your blasting skills to the extreme! This two-in-one blaster is more than 3-feet long and can fire foam arrows up to 35-feet. Aim with accuracy and pinpoint precision using the targeting scope. Two quick-reload clips hold a total of 12 streamlined darts, and there's even a fold-down bipod to help you steady your aim for those really important shots. Gotta make a quick pop at close range? Removable components rapidly provide one-handed freedom with a pistol-style weapon! In either mode, load up, aim, press the trigger, and watch the darts fly! Great fun with your friends at home or on the job! Ages 6 and up.

I'm 10 and I am giving you some reasons why I rate this 5 stars.
---------------------------------------------------------
1. The adjustable stock: this is a great accessory for the Nerf LongShot but it needs a better lock. +3 stars
2. the scope STINKS, is just a hollow tube and is just dead weight. -1 star
3. Gets great range!!!! +3 stars
4. Cocking action ROCKS!!!! +3 stars
5. Jams occasionally but is easily fixed. -1 star
6. The pistol extension decreases range and fires poorly. -2 stars

This is a great gun overall, but the extension is very bad, and the scope doesn't work. Putting on the extension might make the accuracy better, but not the range. If you want more range, take it off. Also, people say this gun jams a lot, but if you load it all the way, and hear the click all the time, it won't jam as much.

What can I say? This gun represents Nerf's new N-Force product line as their flagship weapon. And the way this gun performs is great for the young, and the young at heart alike. The gun is split into two main sections, the long rifle part, and the shorter front attachment that can also function as a single-shot blaster. As far as the main gun is concerned, it functions much like an old bolt action rifle, with a six-dart magazine (which is quite cool, and it comes with two), and a bright orange handle on each side (works for lefties, as well) that loads the dart from the magazine and readies the weapon for firing. The one disadvantage of this is that it's awkward to aim the weapon and get your next shot ready, since the handle is so far back. ... Read More:

This was a good gun.The scope does not line up with the barrel, so you have to aim higher to hit your target, so use the rail on the gun, also some advertisements say the scope magnifies, but it does not. The Longshot shoots pretty far, but the second gun they give you doesn't make it go farther. It shoots just about as far as the other nerf guns. I got it to shoot 40 feet! But the Longshot gets jammed easily, but it is easy to get the jammed dart out. This is a fun gun.

I just bought my two sons each one of these yesterday and already it is more of a headache than fun. It jams up constantly and really is a pain to try to enjoy. Would not recommend it at all--just a heavy piece of junk plastic in the shape of a gun that somehow sells it, but the real function of the gun, to shoot nerf darts, barely works.
