 Rating:  - Very Cool ToyMy son received this for his 6th birthday, and after seeing me do it twice was able to do it on it's own. You make a mold out of playdoh-like material, pour the 'goo' in, and wait 5 minutes. That's it! Rating: - Awesome!We recently just bought this toy for our 4 yr old daughter. I am so glad that we did! My daughter is a kid that doesn't play with toys very much - but the this toy really keeps her entertained. It is well worth the money. It is not a super messy toy and that is a definite bonus. Buy this toy - your kids will love it! Rating: - Fun craft!My son got Martian Matter for his 5th birthday. He has really been enjoying it! We do play-doh a lot, so it's fun to do something a little different once in a while. When friends come over they've had fun making the aliens. It does require my assistance, otherwise I think we'd have the slimy stuff all over the place. The way it works is you make a mold with a substance like play-doh, and then you fill it in with a slimy gel like substance. Then you wait about 10 minutes for it to dry. Unless your child is very neat it can become quite a mess. But, as I said...we've been doing it together. Rating: - My 6 year old son loves it.Definitely one of his favorite presents from his birthday party. No batteries necessary, how great is that? The "mud" is kind of like play doh that you press an impression into and fill it with alien "lava" It takes about 5 minutes (or a little more) to dry and he's been having a blast with it. There are quite a few 2 piece combination aliens to make. The combinations are really cute and seem endless! Lots of fun to make and then to play with the aliens and the spaceship. Rating:  - Keeps the kids busy for quite awhile...My younger daughters (ages 5 and 7) and their friends love to play with this! They love to manipulate the dough/clay and use their creativity to make their own crazy little alien critters by mixing and matching the heads and bottoms. The fact that they can make more alien critters while the others are "setting" is great because kids don't like to wait to have to make another one. I also like that you can store the parts in the alien ship and not have them all over the floor and lost! Great product! |
